Damn those iakop looks fantastic on you man!!!!!! Awesome!

Iakop looks great on you. It's a very underrated cut. I have many iakops. If you wear them tight it's perfect. The wash is fancy but difficult to combine. The shirt and boots in your pics are perfect for it. Could you tell me your size?

Thanks so much for the nice comments audit, wilko, DC, and only the brave.. Really appreciate it! Yes I like Iakop. It's a very nice cut. I sized down on this so I think my Iakop size is 30W x 34L.... In other cuts that are non stretch I am 31W x 34L... Brave-- please let me know if there are any other washes you'd recommend in Iakop...

Sanibeldude, 34L - i wish i had such long legs. I can recommend you iakop 0820s and 0802a from this season. imho they are perfect for casual business days. This washes go perfect with a fine leather shoe and a classic slim fit shirt. They are not very individual, some will say, they are boring washes, but for me they are classic and fine. Ideal for the office on some days...

Thanks very much for the advice!   I will check them out.

I also took pics on Shioner 824y, Sleenker 824z, and some of the other new washes.  Will post those later.  Happy to answer questions.

So I saw this pair in San Fran store toda and I must say it looks great......I know you been wanting pair of grey jeans and this is excellent buy!!!

definitly all thavars and shioners from this season are much more roomier  than the last seasons. they really grow in lenght and width.

A lenght 30 in thavars is a lenght 34 in nudies for example. That sucks. New thavars in L30 ar for giants...

I Agree 100%

Hi Brave... Which thavar washes did you notice the longer length? Are they really 34 inches long? Thanks

Hi DC,

Thanks

I have noticed that with the longer legs as well. I have tried both Thavar and Belther in 823U wash and I have to say both seem a bit longer than usual in my usual L32 size.

It's funny all of you are saying this because a few years ago I wore safado. I bought another pair 2 years after the first safado and they were really baggy. I guess they change the cuts from time to time. I'm thinking about trying out sleenker but idk.  I'm might just find a different brand all together. :/

I think that especially with the slimmer cuts, you'll find it hard to switch to a roomier fit once you've appreciated the fit of a slim/skinny cut... kind of like a natural transition.

To me, the leg opening of a pair of jeans is the most important criterion; a few years ago I was fine with Thanaz but after I switched to Tepphar, Thanaz's larger leg opening wasn't appealing to me anymore. At the moment, I only like to wear cuts such as Tepphar or Sleenker mainly due to their relatively small leg opening that determines the way they fit around my calves and ankles and ultimately how they combine with my shoes.

Also, I'm quite positive that if you liked the fit of Thanaz or Thavar, you will love the new Sleenker cut... at least I think they would fit you great.

Couldnt agree more Daaan. I sold all of my Thanaz and in theprocess of deciding what to do with my Thavar as the bigger leg opening affects the way in which they stack on my shoes. I never wear Thavar on a night out now as they dont look as good around my ankles with smart shoes.

@daaan, you're dead right about diesels slim/skinnys. And I also agree with what you said on the other thread. But I have one small wrinkle. In previous seasons diesel may have released 2-3 extreme washes but lately (since the texture exposure season IMO) these extreme washes have become the norm. Having said that there is plenty of washes out there for everybody. I'm probably just raging that I got nothing from this season really apart from tepphar 813W. Some washes are running kinda big. 814M, 604B, 603B, etc all run a good one size bigger.

Oh, I completely agree! Skinny cuts just stack the best. However the problem is that thanaz, thavar, shioner is as skinny as I can get. Tepphar is wayy to tight for me. My knees bulge out like I'm trying to smuggle two watch boxes.

i tried sleenker 824p today....im not sure if i liked the fit. i had to size up from my usual size and still felt tight.

Some 824P pics: http://zozo.jp/shop/diesel/goods/3095668/?did=&cid=1660 Really diggin this wash, especially the back side.

Dunno if it's old news, but we now also have waykee-ne http://store.diesel.com/nl/pants_cod36465424lh.html

Ive seen today shioner 824y, its really dirty and 816h looks much more better. 821t is actually suprised me, it reminds me 805a without the greenish color and one shade less darker.

The photos dont do justice with the wash.

So far only the "regular" washes got me, and depends on how the blue-green 824q will look, 824e and 821t will be the only washes ill get from ss14.
