Was just at diesel store at San Jose..

They have many pairs of tepphar 823D and I do not think there's anything fancy with them and definitely not worth $400 in my opinion. They are basically similar to my DBG superbia BG80E. It's just a blue jean coated into black so it has a waxy feel and plus it has brown fadings at thigh....

However having said that I finally got to see and try on Sleenker 824z. I took lots of photos will post them here when I get back to the hotel.... But man they are comfortable.... Stretchy feel similar to 880R but thinner cotton. It also has an orange rust patina like 811p does. I will do my full preview with photos shortly.

I'm confused when you say "faded into black." Mine are like a brown/green/golden color.  I love them, though.  I will probably buy 2 more pairs before they run out.

Hello, I didn't say faded into black....

The jeans are blue Jeans with black waxy coating to make the jeans black. And yes it has brown/gold fadings at the thigh. It's nice and stretchy. Don't get me wrong, all I am saying is the technique is very similar to a pair of DBG superbia that I own.

Would love to see some fit pix if you have them.

Thavar 608T is a MUST! Coolest pair I've seem diesel make in ages. I'm kinda biased coz I have a penchant for black jeans these days!
Im with you @ Phukette, 608T is the best pair there, but unless it comes in Tepphar or Shioner I will probably stay away.
Hopefully the rest of the collection will also follow suit so I can save some cash.

Thavar 608T looks amazing! I will definitely add this to my wish list.

@ Phukette

Thavar is dependant on how the wash stacks. I used to have a lot of Thavar but prefer the narrower leg opening so sold a lot of them and only kept the washes I couldn't bring myself to sell (8X2, 813L UK, 888P, 811P). Kind of decided that I would concentrate my money on Tepphar, Shioner and probably a Sleenker from now on unless it's a very special wash.
I'm also finding thavar and shioner are not as slim as they used to be.

damn that 608T thavar is nice.... I also have my eyes on the Thavar 829B Blue eyecon's and the other Belther blue Eyecon someone posted a while back.  crap anyone know the wash??

i think the slimness of thavar is staying the same as previous years, but with skinnier cuts made available with narrower leg openings, it seems like thavars aren't as slim.

also really liking those Thavar 608T!

Had a chance to drop by my local Diesel store and fell in love with several of the new washes-- in particular Iakop 824D, Sleenker 824Z, and Thavar 807V.  I'm going to post pics on Iakop 824D today.  This is my first Iakop!  Never had tried this cut before.  My favorite cuts currently are Shioner and Thavar, but I have to say that I really like Iakop.  They are a nice tapered fit and if you are fairly slim, they look great.  I encourage you to try them out.  This is a grey khaki color with nice brown tones in a medium weight stretch denim.  I would guess its about a 10 ounce denim.  The fabric feels very comfortable on your skin -- its stretch denim, but these don't feel like they are going to stretch out very much.  Not nearly as thin as the material used in my Tepphar 602S.  There are nice subtle dirty marks throughout the jean that add distinction and also some distressing, but all very tastefully done.  I plan to wear these to work, but they can be dressed up or down -- whatever you like.  I tried on about 10 of the new washes and this is the one that I decided to buy.  In terms of favorites, I would rate this equally with Sleenker 824Z.   I recommend sizing down one size in the waist. I also took pics on Shioner 824y, Sleenker 824z, and some of the other new washes.  Will post those later.  Happy to answer questions.
