Diesel Spring/Summer 2014 SS14 - Page 7

guys, these are just an example of Avant Garde pieces that are normally used in magazine ads for the campaign of the brand/collection. I'm sure they do not represent the entire collection. i'm sure majority of us would not purchase them because we wouldn't consider these pieces as "normal wear", and let alone the fact that they are most likely going to be overpriced. I just don't think Diesel or any brand would narrow down their consumer base by producing an entire collection that would not be considered "normal wear" in the public eyes.

an obvious example would be, 8B9, a popular wash which was made in almost every cut, it was never appeared in the magazine ads or their runway show. But it is very sellable to the public. These Avant Garde pieces are nothing but their marketing strategy which to keep us reminded that Diesel jeans represent sexiness, edginess, and most importantly innovation...and they are for...only the brave.

I totally agree with the previous comment. And besides I think the majority of you guyz are too pessimistic about this whole Formichetti + Diesel thing. In my opinion this guy is great and what is yet to come is going to be awesome. These are my expectations. Only time will show how things will turn out to be.

Darron 824Y

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v80), quality = 75

They look awesome. So far shioner 824Y and belther 824E are on the list. Seems I'll be going for a dark theme next season(sorry Levislad!). But having said that having 2 jeans on the list this early is an improvement on the last 2 seasons!

Although I have exactly one lighter wash jeans, and I need more than that I LOVE THIS WASH! And I am as well hoping for other cuts in that WASH :)

Beautiful. It looks similar to 801A doesn't it? Maybe a bit darker.

290 euro? they have humor

I might have to try the Sleenker. Makes a change to have a button fly skinny than zip fly.

I wonder if there will be any more Shioners?

I like those re-boot thavar too. reminds me of 74y. Where do you all find this collection? the US diesel site is all weird...different layout and everything.

btw, I received new Sleenker 24p from cultism this past weekend. the wash is awesome. very stretchy denim. I must say they're the tightest pair of pants other than my long johns underwear I own. but surprisingly I think they look good, and they're the most comfortable jeans ever. they just hug your bun and legs like a glove. the leg opening is 6", about 15 cm just to give you an idea how tight they are. for stretchy jeans, they have a bit of 3D creases too. and they are made in Italy but without the flag stitches. too bad I was too busy arranging my house and getting a baby room ready for our baby girl. Yes! i'm going to be a dad! icon_biggrin.gif but I promise I will find time to take fit pics soon.
