They taper a bit more than Thavar but not as much as a tepphar.

Also, this wash is not far from what are you looking for, and it's on sale:

Thanks man but I think what I'm looking for is something like the Shioner 805A in terms of color. It's very similar to the Darron 809V's coloring in my opinion. The problem is I am a 33-32 in Thavar (others have recommend keeping the same size for the Shioner) and I'm think the 34-32 might be a bit loose on me in the Shioner. Unforunately, all yoox has at the moment is a 32-32. If anyone knows where to get a 33-32 (including ebay), let me know. All I've found are $300+ 34-32 (newyorkspeed and eBay) while yoox has the 32-32 at $232 I believe. I'd really appreciate any help from anyone who has an idea where to find the Shioner 805A (a year too late), new or even used (unwashed), let me know. I think it's the color I've been searching for. The Shioner 74Y is my second option at the moment. Both are MII but go in different directions in terms of dark washes. One with fading, holes, etc. and the other solid. I found this. Does it look legitimate? It took me from junglee to amazon. Apparently, junglee itself is legitimate but not sure about the seller as it comes from India. http://www.junglee.com/Diesel-Shioner-Skinny-Straight-Denim/dp/B008YPK4J0 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008YPK4J0/ref=junglee?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER Here is the yoox version for comparison but I am 100% sure I just found a great deal on the Shioner 805A from Amazon (which never lists the name of the Diesel half the time. http://www.yoox.com/us/42313569BD/item?dept=denimmen#cod10=42313569BD&sizeId=6 Edit: Never mind. It took me to the American version of Amazon as I can log in and use my gift card balance. I just need confirmation those are the Shioner 805A and I will proceed with my order. I am so excited if they are.

Sorry for the bump guys but wanted to confirm that Thavar 8x2 fits similar to other Thavars like the 806U for example?

So do you recommend 34x32 if you're 33-32 in 806u and Shioner 813S?

I think get your usual size 33x32. I just size down for 806u

Well I am normally 34-32 but in the Diesels I've tried on like Thavar 806U (34-32 was baggy in legs and loose in waist) and Shioner 816S, 33-32 fit much better so I sized down from my Nudies and Levi size. To be honest, I'm probably like a true 33.5-32 if that actually existed. Also, thanks for all the advice. I appreciate it.

Unfortunately, i can't say for shioner816. I size down to 806u(w30), and the usual size for 8x2(w31). I recommend you take a waist measurement before buying.

Okay. I should probably go with 34x32 in Thavar 8x2 then. I recently ordered Shioner 805A in 33x32 but that was based off Shioner 813S I tried in at Nordstroms. I hope I don't need to return for 34x32.

Okay thanks man. I really appreciate all the advice. I canceled my 33x32 Shioner 805A from Amazon (as they didn't ship) and reordered it in 34x32 so I should be good right? There is no way I am getting 36x32 so it should work out and stretch over time.

Also, Thavar 8x2 is very thick but soft right? So, I should stick with normal 34x32 like you mentioned if I sized down to 33x32 in Thavar 806U? Sorry that I'm repeating myself but I want to make sure I'm making the right decision as I'm having a guy order and ship the Thavar 8x2 to me. He has recommended 34x32 so looks like I will go for that as you have as well.

Again, you're the best men. This forum is lucky to have kind and patient guys like you. :)

I am always glad to help. it is very difficult to give advice on sizes, because each has its own taste, style wear.

Shioner 805A: If your size is 33 in thavar 806u, then I think w34 would be perfect for you

Thavar 8x2: I got my normal size for 8x2, and they fit perfectly. I hope this has helped you.

@ summeroflove

Why don't you order both size and keep the one that fits best? I even do that with the same size so I can pick the best wash pattern.

@Dieselicious, It's very dangerous!))) I often get 2 or 3 pairs and I have to keep them all)) because they're all incredible and have their own characteristics)

The only ones I kept multiple was 888p. And even you did keep them, you can keep 1 as back up or sell it.

That's what I just did for the Shioner805A since it's on Amazon and it has a free return policy. However, for the Thavar 8x2, I can't because I am ordering it off someone on here. Also, I heard that it's such a thick denim and much tighter than Thavar 806U (which I wear 33x32 in) so I'm ordering 34x32 like everyone I talked to recommended.

I would recommend to measure the waist align and waist with dip for the best pair that fit you and compare it with the one you are going to buy.

I've done that before with mixed results. End of the day, trying them on is the best option but I'll take the risk. I sized down on the Thavar 806U and every comment regarding the Thavar 8X2 has said not to size down and go with regular fit. 36x32 isn't an option at all so it's in between these two sizes.

If i can try it in person, i would do that for sure. But on older washes, its pretty much impossible.

This method is not 100% guarantee. But if the seller know how to meausre it properly. It's the next best thing. I will also provide the measuring instruction just in case.

The person I am ordering it from is ordering the Thavar 8x2 in both 33x32 and 34x32 and will send me measurements before shipping. Can you pm me the measurement techniques? @Aramis Thanks dude but I'm getting them slightly cheaper than that overall from someone on here. The ebay listing has them $170 + $25 shipping so $195 and I am getting them for close to $190 with shipping included from a trusted member based on his market ratings.

You can ask the measurement at Ebay seller for confidence
