Question regarding Diesel Thavar, Shioner and Thanaz

I'm having trouble finding dark washes in these fits that are Made in Italy. Recently, I ordered the Darron 809V and it is suppose to come in tomorrow. However, I have a feeling it will not be tapered enough so I'll have to return it to Zappos. Can anyone recommend a a wash similar to the 809V that is Made in Italy?

Also, I was looking at the Thavar 885S and it looks like a good wash but just wanted to double check it it was Made in Italy or more importantly how similar it is in reality to the Darron 809V.

Another wash I am considering is the Thavar 8NE. I just want something similar to the 809V. I love dark washes with a blue-green tint. I already have the Thavar 806U so that is out of the question.

8ne is MII. You can also check out 811p. One is best in recent releases. But not much of a green tint though.

What about the Thavar 0884S? I found it online on ebay in the UK but it's pretty pricey. Although, it looks quite similar to the Darron 809V.

Actually, scratch that. They are only 55% cotton and 45% lyocell. If I wanted a Thavar fit on a Darron 809V including legs, how much do you recommend sizing down? My Nudies size is 34-32 but for the Thavar 806U I sized down to a 33-32 and it fits fairly well. I ordered 33-32 in the Darron 809V but I'm wondering if I should have gotten a 32-32.

If you are concerned about the tapared leg, wouldn't be more appropriate looking for a Tepphar instead of a Thavar (which isn't tapered at all)? :/

I tried on the Tepphar but they were far too tapered for my preference. Also, I assumed the Thavar is tapered since it is suppose to be a bit slimmer than the Darron. Anyways, I like tapered jeans like the Levi 511 and Nudie Grim Trim but not skin tight. When I tried on the Tepphar, they were going in the skin tight direction.

Right now, it looks like I'm leaning toward the Thavar 8NE but considering the Thavar 885S (kind of want a Made in Italy though). That's why I thought the Darron 809V would be great. Beautiful color for my taste and Made in Italy. Only problem is fit. I'll try on the 33-32 and might size down if people think it will make it fit like the Thavar.

Yeah, I realize that now but it still has a roughly similar fit to the Darron 809V if I size down?

no

Stunning contribution as always zdenal. Always very helpful.
You'll need to size 2 down if you want a slim fit on these particular Darrons as they run quite loose. 884S is really what you're looking. Don't let the composition put you off. These are proper slim, thick and coarse denim in dark blue wash with a green cast. I love em. Or you can size down 1 on safado 882B but beware the thighs could be quite tight. Another option would be DBG excess:

These are really nice, made in Italy, superb quality with dark teal colour. Bought them myself and love em.

ok, you are right, I could write more about the fit, sizing etc., also my "fault" is I own thavar 884s, so I know what's fit, sizing etc. But all the questions were already answered here x times.

So you will be also "bored" from the still repeating questions. And I'm trying to help with the new cuts / washes, identifying wash, authenticity checks etc.

What are you babbling on about? You don't make much sense sometimes.
Have you ever done a search on this forum? It's ridiculous and for a newbie it's easier to just create a tread and your amazing contribution is to be patronising and tell them to do a search? So thank you but we don't need that sort of help.

Does anyone know if the Shioner 814w or any other Shioners are MII? It looks like a great dark wash.
74y is MII. 801a & 805a should be too.
Generally speaking, all MII washes retail price start $250+. So if you see a wash retail at below $200, 99% of the time it's a non MII.

Thank you Dieselicious. The Shioner 805A looks like a great wash but quite hard to find these days. If I am a 34-32 in Nudie Grim Trim and 33-32 in Diesel Thavar, do you recommend 34-32 in Shioner?
I would say go with your thavar size. Thanaz/thavar/shioner all fit pretty much the same.
805a should be available on yoox. Not sure about the size availability.

885s is more of a clean dark wash. so i'd scratch that. and if you're not down w/ 884s due to lycocell then 8ne is not for you either as it is also nearly half lycocell.

Thanks for the tips guys. I really like this Shioner from Yoox and it looks like it is MII. What is its name? Yoox doesn't seem to list it. http://www.yoox.com/us/42311640EV/item?dept=denimmen#cod10=42311640EV&sizeId=7

Thanks for the advice but how do you tell which jean is which in terms of number? Yoox seems to only list the fit. This Thavar looks pretty nice but I'd like to see more pictures online if I knew what it was called. http://www.yoox.com/us/42311671LQ/item?dept=denimmen#cod10=42311671LQ&sizeId=7

You should really consider Excess indeed.

They taper a bit more than Thavar but not as much as a tepphar.

Also, this wash is not far from what are you looking for, and it's on sale:

Yoox don't list any wash code, that's what making purchase difficult sometimes. You just have to know how the wash looks by heart. Or you can ask here too.

And no idea on the thavar. Sorry
