I Got Sammys! But I don't know if I should keep 'em...

I wanted Sammys in a 24 in a medium premium but I can't find them anywhere, and True Religion isn't doing another cut of them anytime soon. I knew I wanted a lighter wash, so I ordered the Cowgirl Destroyed and Ranch Hand from Revolve, but Ranch Hand was out of stock...

They only turned out to be $155 because I've been returning/exchanging on the OCT12th 35% coupon at Revolve! Haha

They feel fine, although the thicker waistband feels more restrictive than a regular low-rise. I'm not afraid of these stretching out because I plan on wearing them as a casual jean instead of a super form-fitting one...do Sammys stretch out much?

I'm not sure what else is out there for a comparable price (~$150...these were $240 + 35% off, but discounted $190 ones would be great as well) because these are a present to myself before I go abroad next semester. I just don't know if I love the rips on both back pockets. Do they look good...or did someone shoot me in the butt twice?







The white thing on the back leg was a loose thread (maybe from the distressing) that got stuck there, I took it off right after. And I know they're superlong...forgive me, I'm 5'3" with like a 29" inseam

As far as fit they look great but yeah I'm not real fond of the twinkie gunshots

I love them...and the look great on you!!! I do not mind the holes..
I have the cowgirls in regular destroyed and cowgirl dark and love them!! I think you look Fab...I say keep them unless you are too uncomfortable...

I also think they look great on you, and I feel the same about the back pockets..I am watching a pair just like it and still thinking over if I want to go for them because of the pockets...but I may just go for it anyway..I love the Sammy!

Aww thanks everybody!!!

I do have a question for iluvshopin (or any one else with TRs that have those distressed holes) --- how do they hold up? Do they ever snag and rip more? And how do they hold up in the regular wash? I wash all my jeans in regular hot water and then put them in the dryer normally...so I'm hoping that they won't get snagged and rip apart more.

Otherwise, I think they could be keepers...I don't love the holes in both back pockets but I love the wash color, the look, and the fit! ...is that enough?

It would be enough for me!! Especially at a great sale price I can overlook a lot!

Haha $150 is still the most I've paid for any pair :-/ But I've wanted Sammys so bad! I don't know if I should really be waiting for a more ideal pair...but it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon...and I don't think I'll be buying any pairs while in England since it'll be more expensive (and since I've bought TONS in just the past few months).

u look hot and i like!!! distreessing will only rip more if u snag it on something or get someting caught in it. u should be good though. just don't put anything that could get stuck in ur back pocket.

They are soso CUTE. And they look GREAT on you. I also have two cowgirls. I am also not a big fan of the destroyed-type jeans. But I have to say I love the fit and the wash although they are not sammy's. I haven't washed mine yet since I don't know if I would like to shrink them. I kinda like the slack-fit of how they look on me.

I have not had any trouble with the holes Iwille and have washed my regular cowgirls 15 times maybe. I know what you mean by getting bigger and loosing the threads, but mine have held up very well, no snagging or anything... You LOOK FABULOUS GIRL!!! I would keep them for sure...they look like they fit you perfect!!

ARRRGH. Designsbystephene is having a 35% off sale for today only and they have Sammys in the medium premium, which I originally wanted...now what? They would take 4 weeks to deliver and I don't know how reliable that company is (never bought from them).

I'm still not super fond of the back pocket distressing...I like it on the front (which the medium premium lacks), but I'm afraid of being some fashion victim a few years from now with her picture in a magazine for having holes on her butt!
