Leftvapor,

This is awesome!!   Thanks so much for sharing this.  I really appreciate it.  Is Kelly jeans a reputable dealer?  I've never bought from them before.   Now I just have to figure out how to buy these without my wife finding out.  I've bought 4 diesels over the past 2 months and she's getting upset now.

Leftvapor,

Thanks very much for letting me know about this!! I really appreciate your help.  Is Kelly Jeans a reputable store?  I haven't bought from them before.  Thanks again!

@ Denim Collector I wouldnt try to compare the two, as for me the 887V is a dirty wash in terms of all of the bleaching going on. There is a high contrast of colours (certainly on my pair) where as the 880I is more of a controlled transition between blues and whites throughout the jeans. The 887V is awesome IMO but I do struggle to wear it as its really in your face. @ Sanibeldude No worries. I have never bought from them but I have heard that others have and I wouldnt think twice about ordering from them if they stocked 30 leg.

Here is the comparison between Thavar 880m, 880i and 8880m.

And the worn pix, although they need to stretch a bit because even the w29 is rather tight but that may be because the denim is thick and quite stiff.

Awesome comparison Lee!!!

Thanks Levislad - well said.. thanks man.. I'm just in the fence about grabbing a 887v right now at an online Diesel outlet store located in Montreal Canada.. they are selling it for $180ish...

880i > 8880m > 880m IMO

my list is 8880m > 880i > 880m

still think that 8880m is the best light wash for summer.

Hi Levislad,

These look great on you!  Can I ask if they are comfortable yet?  Also could you please compare the look of the wash and the fit to Safado 880i.  It looks like I can get the Safado 880i for around $180 so I'm trying to decide if it makes sense to spend the extra money for Thavar or not.  Please let me know if the look of the wash between Thavar and Safado is very similar.  thanks!

Thanks!

I have worn them all night so far and they are stretching out now.

The wash is pretty much the same as Safado 880i. I still love the Safado too and won't be selling them. I like both 880i in Safado and Thavar.

Thank you.  So the fit on Safado is the same as Thavar in the thighs and the butt right?  They are just looser below the knee?  I'm pretty skinny and have several Safados but am thinking about branching out for the first time to buy a Thavar.

The Thavar 880i are tighter than most Thavar and also a lot tighter than Safado. I have both in w29 and the Thavar are as tight as a w28

understood.   sounds like they might be a bit uncomfortable.  maybe I'll stick with the Safados. I'm also trying to find a pair of thavar 888p, but very hard to find in a size 31 X 34.   Is 888p your favorite wash?

Nope, totally different combination of colors and materials. if to choose between 2 of them tepphar is much better choice imho. 880I is a nice color but thickness of denim and crunchy effect ruins it :(. plus when you wear them they look baggy from knee down.

Does someone know where I can get them in W28?
