Auth Check tag says Made in Romania and Italy on the second?

I have a pair of Diesel Kycut jeans. They seem authentic at a first glance, but I noticed something strange on the tags. The first one reads Made in Romania and the inner white tag reads Made in Italy. Could this be an error or is this a sign of a fake?

 

They do not have original hems, bottoms on these have been cut.

Microstitching looks good, but of course get a Diesel expert - I'm not sure why the tags would contradict each other but I've seen this with fabric contents contradicting each other on True Religions.

 

This has nothing to do with anything authenticity-related, but seriously...WHO CUTS RAW HEMS ON THEIR JEANS (I'm assuming they were already cut that way when you got them)...srsly. If you can afford Diesels you can afford to get a decent hem job.

I know, I felt the same way when I saw how the hem was cut, Crazy!  I thought about hemming them or turning them into shorts. I'm guessing the previous owner was going for a cuttoff look or something?
