Finally...I've arrived, thank you, thank you...you're all too kind!

I'm Mike and first I'd like to state that it's good to be able to join a community that shares my passion for denim. I'm a collector in that I buy a lot and sort of hoard them as I'm reluctant to let any go once I've gotten pass the point of never wearing them often enough. Although I'm wondering if such a point exist ;-) either way I enjoy nice stylish denim, name brand preferrably, AG- the Matchbox series, Diesel, J Brand- Kane and Tyler fits, Levi's 511, NEUW Iggy and also Naked and Famous skinnies. these are all of the brands I have and love to wear, I've tried many but these are my go to brands. I'll try any brand really, but they have to fall under the FAQS (Fit, Awesome, Quality, Stylish) but I suppose most people go for that these days...only most though.

Living in the Washington, D.C. area I see styles of all kinds and enjoy that this city, my hometown, is so colorful. I served in the U.S. Navy for some time and so I went away and experienced other cultures, but when I came back it seems that all of those cultures were filtered thru this area, and I couldn't be happier. My friends would and often do call me up-to-date and far beyond style trends, I'm all about expressing ones self thru the wearing of clothing, especially when it comes to denim. Jennifer, yea I've been to Denimbar, nice place, they keep a great stock from what I can see whenever I do stop by. Although I do most of my shopping online, as I find there are more choices out there on the web. I've often heard people say they have to try on clothing before they buy them, but I'm built slender thankfully, so I can and will take chances with online shopping. My closet is stock full of styles I've collected and held onto over the last few years or so, I like to keep these going, but more recently I've been getting into colors and patterns, bright and dark and I gotta say I'm loving it! I get many compliments, so I guess it's my own niche I've gotten into and feel confident about where it's taking me. So we'll see ;)

I absolutely agree, over the years I've collected and worn all styles from many different brands, but like many things in the fashion world, some come and stay, while othere come and go quickly haha! Really though I try to keep it simple, with a little bit of a surprise, I stick to skinny and slim fits, with a bootcut to throw in here and there ;-) I think it's all about believability and confidence in expression.
