What do you think of the patchwork jeans trend?

I made a post on DenimBlog today, all about the patchwork jeans trend and how it's quite popular at the moment. It sort of crops up here and there over the years, but a lot of brands have brought out their own take on the trend. I'm a fan! Personally, I like it a bit more when there are many patches that overlap so it doesn't look too much like an old patched pair of jeans but more intentional.

I just found these Current/Elliotts. They are such a mix of trends: patchwork, moto, and pattern!

They look alright on womens denim, not my favorite but they are alright and different. I like that you can be unique and DIY some of your own.

 

 

 

But for men..... I don't think so. But who knows my views change day by day.

I do like the idea of DIY them yourself, so you could add cool patterns that fit your style! What patches would you add?

 

I'd add some cool, faded, boy scout, vintage patches...

I think that two or three patches will be enough. Just if you do more it looks funny, as if you are working in a circus. IMO

I probably wouldn't add any badges, when I plan on doing mine it's gonna be simple with just some different patches of denim in different shades and sizes and maybe a couple of minimal floral patches integrated into that. I think that will look pretty for Spring!
