So I am trying to learn which credit card will provide maximum number of miles. 

I am currently looking at three different cards:

STARWOOD PREFERRED

CAPITAL ONE

This might be the one to get. It provides 2 points for every dollar spent.  That could possibly provide me with 2x as much travel credit each year.

I talked to Capital One today on the phone.  I like the fact that they offer 2x as many miles per dollar.  Their customer service department was really quite good.  (although their application department didn't know anything regarding my questions of paypal and credit cards)
