Diesel outlet store quality

Hi,

 

I've recently purchased a pair of Thavars in 880G at a local DIESEL outlet store in Aurora, IL.

 

Needless to say more, I got the jeans hemmed at my local Nordstrom and noticed that they started to rip on the outside seam... I am very frustrated especially that their customer service sucks (exchange ONLY and if the jeans haven't been worn or altered).

 

Question is: are the outlet jeans of lower quality? I did notice that the tags have different stickers on them. They have much bigger writing on them.

 

On the other hand, I just got a pair of Safados in 804K from Nordstrom which look phenomenal!

well i guess diesel can only sell products with lower quality in outlets....products with minor dmg etc

 

but they can also sell products from last season ...maybe overstocked jeans etc

The quality of the products in the outlets aren't any different than those in department stores or actual Diesel stores. It's just a stock of past seasons, they actually carry Diesel Black Gold items as well, which are supposed to be premium. I've had two pairs of jeans bought from the outlets that I've had hemmed and have had absolutely no problems.

 

Dare I say it was the tailor at Nordstrom? Their customer service is usually top notch though...

Nordstrom is the shit!

Yea Paul, I think you just had bad luck with those. I don't think diesel would normally carry stuff that does not pass their quality control as it would hurt badly on the brand image. And Nordstrom is one of the best dept store there is!
