THAVAR-UK 0813L (Thavar-E- COM) Exclusive to Flagship Stores and Online.

So I mentioned in the Thavar-US 75G thread that I found out that the flagship store in London, and Selfridges had these in stock. I live nowhere near London but went down last week for a concert. I wasnt sure if they would be a 75G re-release or a new wash, but unless they were hideous, I was always going to pick them up. Here are some photos....

 

This one best shows the true colour....

Details included on the jeans, are obviously the THAVAR-UK size label, the label shown below right, the red white and blue stitching which runs along the inside of the jeans, and can therefore be seen inside the hems. Also, the leather patch on the back.

There is also the letters UK stitched in red, white and blue right near the outer seem on the right leg....

These ones show the fading on the legs, and one of the back pockets...

These ar 100% cotton and of corse, Made in Italy. They are not a very thick cotton though. To feel, they remind me of my Thanaz 8PI that  I used to own. Very thin material. In terms of the colours and fading, when I picked them up I was wearing my Tepphar 804K. To me, they looked like lighter/darker versions of eachother. Both demonstrate similar crinkles on the faded areas on the front. 

 

These cost me £210, but I had a £40 voucher. Without the exclusivity, im not sure I would have forked out that sort of money for them. Having said that, I probably would have added them to my wishlist and hoped to pick them up at 20%-30% off.

Yeah they look very similar to 801B. But nice all the same. 801B is a nice wash that didn't get released in nice cuts so that's a real win. Unfortunately I'm looking for something lighter like 8880M or 888P.

Apologies, I was not familiar at all with the 801B, probably because it was never released in any of the cuts I wear. But yes I have just looked, and they are identical. Even the tear on the right knee.

It must be a marketing hype, the Diesel Rome store told me the same thing that this jean is exclusively made for Rome. Anyways it is 801B.

It is partially a marketing hype, although the jeans are exclusive to each of the flagship stores.

The staff in Rome, unless they use this forum or are informed otherwise, probably believe that the jeans are exclusive just to their store, due to the details on the jeans.

But the same pair and wash are available in each of the flagship stores, obviously the specific details on them will differ.

They can only order the us version. But yeah, just tell them you want to order thavar 813L in your size, they can have it mail to you. I did that for my 75G.

The sales rep might not know of this wash since its a flagship store exclusive. But they should be able to find it on their system.

No luck on them ordering for me. Said its not in their system and id have to order it myself:(

Went to store yesterday, was able to locate the 813L. However, can't buy it since its still in their main warehouse. Will have to wait. 😣

@ pinky, if you want to order it, make sure you tell them the model is "thavar-us". That's how the rep locate it in their system.

When I spoke to the guy , he sounded pretty clueless. Mind you this was at a nyc flagship store.
What should I tell the manager, specifically, if they are able to order these?

Ask for model/cut "thavar-us". They should see it in system.

Apologies, not been on here much over Christmas.

 

These should be available in each of the different flagship stores around the world., The wash will be the same, but the name will alter slightly dependant on country (Thavar-UK, Thavar-US etc).

If stores dont have them it will probably because they havnt taken delivery yet.

Picked up a pair of tepphar 68z yesterday , for a good price. Similar wash to the 801b we've been discussing.
Maybe ill just keep these instead. Sweet
