Thick and stretchy denim like 8WW

I wanted to know which jeans from this or previous season have thick and really stretchy denim like 8WW, in thavar and thanaz. If you could just name some so I can look up.

It's not your traditional blue jean, but Thanaz 804M comes to mind. Definitely thick and stretchy.

Thanks I actually like those. But weren't they 100% cotton?

They are listed as 100% cotton on the tag, but they are thick and stretchy... weird. Another one is the new Thavar 807C - 100% cotton, but they are thick and stretchy, too. Received mine today. I dare say you could size down with both of these pairs to get a more snug waist fit.

Really???? So it isn't like 8x2 or 888p?

Not in my experience, no. Thanaz 804M is a bit stretchier than Thavar 807C, BTW. The ass is huge on those 804M, I had to size down to W26!

Thanks, will check them in store.

I also have both and the 807C most definitely are not stretchy!!!! They are like 888P, same denim. And as for the 804M they have a little give in them but are no more stretchy than any other 100% cotton diesels.

8ne should be similar.

Phukette, I was thinking that. It's actually hard to believe that 100% Cotton denim can be stretch.

Btw I'm not talking about which jeans will stretch, but which jeans are stretchy, for example having 2% elastine. But also being thicker than normal. 8ww was like that. pretty thick, 2% elastine

Dieselisious, 8ne is the opposite definition of stretch icon_razz.gif

@Phukette

do you post pics from 807C ?

I will be posting pics at the weekend. I've also been asked to write a proper review of them in this sites' main page. They need more male reviewers so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Baltimore, what about Tepphar 8Y0?

Just to clarify - yes, both the 804M and 807C aren't stretch (as in a cotton-elastane blend), but they do have a little give in them (feel 'stretchy') right off the bat even though they are 100% cotton. When I put it on for the first time, my 807C felt a tad roomier than my 888P, which comparatively felt stiffer and tighter when I first put it on. Both pairs of the same waist size and leg length. The 807C is in no way your typical tight, rigid, run-small 100% cotton jean like the Shioner 74Y or the Thavar 8X2, is what I'm saying - it feels like it has more give and is comparatively roomier in the waist and leg, even when you pull on a brand new pair. So for a fit that's more snug, one might consider sizing down. The last post by Pryv75 in his review of the 807C explains what the jean is like. Hope this clears any confusion up. Cheers.

Chinotto, I now know what you mean. I think it's that pair that is like this. I recently tried 2 brand new 8x2's. in one pair I could move more freely, and 1 pair was really stiff. Excact same size. I also had the same experience with several 74k's. But I was talking about a real stretch denim, those which you can sleep in icon_razz.gif

Phukette, yes 8y0, but now 2 layers thicker icon_biggrin.gif

Evrey 100% cotton get stretch, (except 887k which is uniqe) its like stretching your tee, it will get bigger when doing it.

No worries, buddy. Yes, those two pairs I talked about felt kind of 'soft' right out of the box, despite them being made of a thick material. I wore my 807C out for the whole day today and they've already loosened up a little bit more.

In any case, there are a couple of new Shioners on the Europe online store (which you might have already seen) that are 'stretch' in the truest sense of the word - they are both cotton-elastane blends. The first is a little bit '80s and acid/marble wash-looking, the second is a clean dark basic with minimal fading. Not sure how thick the denim is though. Both are non-MII, too.

806M is one of the jeans this season I got my eyes on. Simple and stylish. Hope it's thicker than normal, much better for stacking.
