What Diesels to wear for a night out? With a blazer and shirt

Thread Starter

Looking for a pair of Diesels, on the slim side that can be worn when going out, or at some less formal events. So far I narrowed down to Thanaz, but if you have any suggestions on others and wash also, I would appreciate it.

any skinny cuts. thanaz 660q great for this.

^^That's an excellent style Aahz.

Talking about the 887k, found them in my size for € 160,- . Wondering if they're worth it or should I wait for a better price?

Ramirez - i got mine at new york speed for $132USD brand new.. make sure you size up on this pair, super tight.. i got a 29 and its still really tight around the thighs... i think a 30 would be better for me and normally I'm a 28...

As denim collector said, the jeans runs really tight. My 33 fits much tighter than all my 32 skinny jeans, even than 33 thavar 888p. The jeans doesn't stretches at all, not even a bit.

Ramirez, I would say they're worth €160 if you can't find better. They're a beautiful dark wash.

My only complaint is the indigo rubs off onto lighter fabrics.

I also sized up one and they're nice and snug.

887k, very underrated, 👍👍

I pulled the trigger and bought them! Sized up as suggested.

Thanks for the advice

Or shouldn't I thank complete strangers who encourage me to spent money.. icon_wink.gif

Hi guys

If I'm a W29 for Thavar 888p, what is the equivalent size for Thanaz 887K? Is it W30?

Hansolo, I wear 29 for 888p as well and ordered the 887k last weekend. I ordered a 30/30 after advice I got here to size up. I expect them to arrive next week. So I can inform you about the fit.

If you can wait that long 071.gif

I have both in 34 (I'm normally 33). The 888p's are a bit looser.

I had 888p in the same size(33). For me 888p fitted like half size down but the waist was regular to it size. 887k fits regular on the waist, but the knee and calves fits really tight, much more than my shioner 801a, thavar 8880m and thanaz 8880k.(all 3 are size 32)

Buddies, thanks for all your advice. Decided to get it!

Like Ramirez, I just placed an order for 30/30. WIll arrive in 3-4 biz days.

Hi guys, my Thanaz 887K has arrived. what do you think of the fit? should i keep or return?

Have size up by one and ordered a W30 but it is still tighter than my 888P W29.

The jeans won't stretch. If it too thigh for you ,size up if it really bothers you. If the waist will be too lose(and believe me, it will) you can take it to the tailor to fix the waist, like I did.
Lol, it stacks on the knees like it does to me, really annoying when you sit and stand up afterward.

I think for this wash you have to have extraordinary skinny upper legs.

Hi Baltimore, thanks for your frank opinion. I'm inclined to exchange to Shioner 805A, will it be a better choice?

The second picture look really good. It looks thigh, but if you can walk, sit and climb the staris it will be fine. You just get use to it. I think the wash is worth it.(wearing it right now on the way to the store to get braddom 802k)

They fit you very well. You should not change them, and they look great with this shoes.

Nice fit Hansolo! They look good.

Mine arrived yesterday. Will post fit pics Saturday. Will post fit pics of the 805A as well and some comparison pics, so you get a good look at them.

Ramirez, how different are they?  while my 805a is on its way, i've been thinking about picking up the 887k as well.

Hmmm, that's kinda difficult to explain, but I'll try.

At first, when I didn't have the 887k, I thought 805a was a great wash to dress up, but now I have both, my feelings have changed.

The 805a gives me a feeling it has to be matched with rough wool/ knitwear and cotton 'lumberjack' shirts. For shoes I'm thinking about brown boots, those high ones with tough leather.

That's because the denim is thick and the jeans can be worn a bit baggy/ saggy as well.

The 887k is more the classy one, to match with a nice (dress) shirt, Colbert or classy V-neck knitwear. Matched with shoes you could wear under a suit as well, or something more informal.

The denim of the 887k is slightly thinner and has a more soft feel. It's cleaner as well compared to the wash of the 805a.

If I had to pick one to give me that real winter feeling dashing through the snow with boots on, it's the 805a. After that, take a shower and change to a more classy style with the 887k to have dinner and your gf/ date wearing a cocktail dress.

But you have to see for yourself, so I will make pics this Saturday. Might even match them with different clothes ifI can find the time.

I'm now torn between keeping or returning. will give myself the weekend to think through.

I would agree with this. I only wear my 887Ks when I'm out for a night out.
