...I'm back! 

 

Taking a quick look around, it looks like there's more new members than there are new washes and that's always a good thing.

 

My money and attention has been devoted to building up and rocking this thing:

 

 

 

 

 

 

But I'm still here, and always trying to look good haha.

 

Check out this amazing silk couture jacket that's being finished up! Rocking the 886B's for a fitting today.

Welcome back autodafe,

 

Nice ride. I've got a hardtail stumpjumper and a tarmac, which I finally had shipped over from the UK after being in storage for 3 years. Just got the roadie put back together this week.

 

Forgot just how nice it is being on a bike.

Sweet! I KNEW there would be at least one other guy here who's into this stuff! I love my Stumpy :D I also have a Rockhopper with V's that I love bombing around in too:

Also rocking the good ole' 888P. They amaze me EVERY SINGLE TIME I put them on, I swear.

Beautiful location there.

A shot from today's hill climb:

 

 

 

It's funny... steep climbing (though I loved the idea) used to be a torturous challenge. But within the last couple of weeks before I packed up the bikes, I broke through that and had a lot of fun with climbing. Now having not ridden for 3 years, I immediately started on steep hills (much more than I ever did previously) and it's been easy.

 

Weird, but it shows that it's more mental than physical. Whatever I had cracked through... stuck.

Yeah the trails we hit are really technical so even simple climbs are hindered by CHUNKS of granite everywhere. My legs are always on fire and it's never easy haha. I ride with my wife 99% of the time and it's simply one of those great couple activities. Also, I grew up on a bike and I can totally tell by how good it feels to be on a bike.

BTW, what fits DON'T you wear? You are the model of loving the brand, every cut haha, it's amazing.

Well, I suppose I could bust out a Zatiny, but I feel I'm already taking my chances posting Krooley's here. icon_mrgreen.gif

 

Really, I've only been wearing Diesel for just less than a year and I don't think I've paid anywhere near retail, except for one or two pairs. I think I've been fortunate with good opportunities to collect a solid and varied set of denim.

 

So far, I'm happy with what I've got and don't feel the need to replace anything. I like keeping what I buy. Because of that, I'm not sufficiently compelled by any of this season's washes except for one -- 804m.
