I have looked on the diesel.com,no where can I find the denim weights anymore and I like to buy on line alot.

Thanks in advance

Hi Esheen, you're right about the old bootcuts being made of thick denim. I bought a black Zatiny about two years ago (can't remember the washcode) that was really thin. One exception re bootcuts is the (MII) Zatiny 8UP, which is pretty thick denim, and also dates back about two to three years ago, if I remember correctly. There still are some recently produced jeans in a relatively heavy-gauge denim - Thavar 888P is a prime example. But the current situation is that Diesel.com only lists the denim weight on some of its "special" washes - Thavar 810X, Thavar 807C, Darron 809V, Krooley 811P, to name a few. I think this is a pretty recent thing. You'll see the denim weight information on the "Details" tab after you click on the individual pair. The vast majority of the jeans on the online store, however, give no indication of the weight of the cotton. (Asos.com sometimes offers denim weight information, too.) But I'm sorry I can't help you out on which bootcuts at present - if any - are heavy-gauge cotton...

Thanks man good information !-,yea, I am really stuck on thick diesel denim-they just seem to fit me better as well as look better on me and of coarse the thicker they are they will usually last longer-if you happen to hear of any current (last 2-3 years) Zathan washes that are heavy, please post here and i guess i will have to try to get down to a store sometime feel the various washes.

Please restrict selling to the marketplace only. Selling of any kind is prohibited in the main forum.

No worries, and will do. Off topic on this thread, but if you'd like to go further back in time, so to speak, you might want to look for old bootcut washes with relatively thick denim. Off the top of my head, these include the Zathan 772, Zathan 71J, Zathan 73H, Zaf 796, X-Rotuck 796, Koffha 796 and maybe even the Zatiny 8UP, if you don't already own any of these.

i love thick denim. to mean it really separates a cheap pair of jeans vs an expensive pair. really sick of the blend washes here lately too. just give us 12oz or more 100% cotton diesel. thanks!

Really ! I agree. what's so difficult about producing heavy 100% cotton ? That thin stuff just flaps and blows in the wind, doesn't lay right over shoes IMO.

They do not have to do alot of work on them, just give me a HEAVY denim, sand blast them a little and I'm good.

i wonder if 811K comes out also in thavar??! i only saw it in larkee and braddom..... confused.gif

Thanks, yeah, i DO have 772, 71j, 73h which I wore yesterday for the first time, and zaf 796. i also have a zathan 713 and a Backler T13 which are both nice and thick denim, so I shouldn't complain I guess, but when these wear out and all the mentioned 7xx washes not on  available eBay anymore , that's what I am worried about !  Just be cool if they could just make a wash or 2 every year that is heavy (12 oz, - 14 oz.) denim.

I am so in love with blue eyecons series.

I like Darron 809V this season so much, but I have never seen Shioner 805A and Darron 803W in person before.

If I could only get one of them, which one would be my first choice?

How you compare the wash 809V to 805A and 803W?

Really need some advices here, thanks you guys a lot.

Is anyone sure 811p will come in thavar? I saw on diesel website that the only 2 blue eyecons are darron 8v9 and krooley 811p
post #699 of 993
Yeah someone posted pics of the Thavar 811P here a while back. And I think the 809V also comes in larkee.

HI,

WHO CAN HELP ME?

I CAN NOT DECIDE BETWEEN SHIONER 801A,805A AND THAVAR 801C?

I WANT TO KNOW YOUR RATING OF THESE THREE COUPLES.

THANKS IN ADVANCE
