Diesel Spring/Summer 2013 SS13 (PICS) - Page 27

Hello everyone !

I'm french so excuse me if I use bad english.

I saw the thanaz 601K  (SS13) on the official website of diesel :

http://store.diesel.com/fr/skinny_cod36391015vs.html

and on these websites :

http://www.kikietgalou.com/marque-2/728/jean-diesel-thanaz-601-slim-skinny-20920.htm

can someone tell me why sewing are not the same ? Does someone know or saw the thanaz with blue sewings (I prefer this one) : maybe it is a past collection  ?

Thanks.

this jean looks great but it lokks like the 805Q

@ baltimore --> Your guess is absolutely right. I bought Darron 809V in 32. Just measured the hem for you. It is around 18.5 cm if you fully stretch it but it doesn't look big due to the wonderful stacking. The wash is beautiful and kinda similar to the classic 8YM wash without the knee patch. I normally don't wear Darrons but the wash and details are so cool plus it is a blue eyecon - I ended up getting it.

@ Phukette/ Raja -->. Thanks for your comments. You guys are Diesel experts and based on your reviews I purchased Shioner 801A and 805A last year. Both pairs are amazing. One of the reasons I did not buy Thavar 811p is I normally stay away from medium/ electric blue washes. You can't go wrong with a dark wash but Thavar 811p is a beautiful summer wash and I am considering it.

Thanks for measuring it for me! Weird that Weenie's pic shows 17cm. But I must say the darron I tried some time ago sure didn't felt like 17cm. Think I need to get my ass to the store and try it myself.

Just thought I would post some pics of my latest purchases (SS13). I picked up Shioner 806N and 806M, and took a punt with Thavar 801L.

The Thavar went back this morning, I didnt think they were anything special, but I kept both Shioner. I got them both in a 31x30, and although there is a slight give in the waist, I figured that if I swapped them for a 30x30 they may be too tight on my legs....

Old Button Down Cradigan

J.Lindeberg Geo print Tee

Shioner 806N

Bally shoes

Zara Denim jacket

Topman washed denim polkadot Tee

Shioner 806M

Paul Smith leather pumps

I wouldnt say either of these are 'must-haves', but the 806N was on my wishlist and is a nice light wash for summer. I was torn between keeping the 806M as its fairly plain, but then realised they might be a nice subtle pair on a night out (most of my others have rips/tear etc). Both stretch washes so very comfortable.

many diesel jeans cost much money, ok! but every can decide, for what he spend the money! I not drink , i not smoke, i work hard and i like Diesel Jeans and special washes.
i bought not every wash but when i like them, i pay also the full price
post #666 of 993
I'm with you weenie. But I drink. And I like the special washes. I've gotten at least 2 blue eyecons every season. It's all well and good waiting for the sales but like most people here, I work hard and buying diesel is my reward. And I love this build up to the season releases, seeing the new washes and coming across one that "I just have to have!!" Ordering it and waiting for the package to arrive and being so delighted when they do arrive. Once you have one of these special washes in your hands.....I don't need to explain that to anyone here! You all know what I'm talking about!
Price is unfortunately always an issue. Price of manufacturing and cost of cotton continues to rise every year. But blue eyecons rarely get to the €300 mark.

Very unusual at first sight, as always...
Personally, I dislike the current trend of wearing trousers at halfmast.
Also, some jackets look like they've been removed from a used clothing collection and now there's a couple of 90's tracksuits missing one of their halves...

However, some of the blazers and leather jackets look really nice, just as we're used to from Diesel. :)

Generally speaking, I'm not too impressed... what do you think?

nothing spectacular, but i personally like it.

Much chinos which i carry  in the summer myself, but not chinos from Diesel.... and nice Colors... but i want definitely this camouflage scarf

for everyone they only carry jeans and leather jackets, will be disappointed ;-)

but all those are Narrots, and Narrot is a 7/8 fit, you should be wear it so! i personally dont like Narrots from the backside, with the deep pockets and long rise!
should diesel make a slim straight 7/8, i would wear it for summer
post #671 of 993

I definitely agree with you on the Narrots...  they do look good with the right shoes, like boots or sandals.

Was once about to buy myself 74M... I liked the wash and they fit me well when worn cuffed (I'm L34 usually).

Speaking of 7/8 fit pants or capris, they don't look bad when worn right... I was referring to the several dress pants, leather trousers, overalls and cargos that are shown in the catwalk video or on promotional pics where it just looks weird. :/
Ankle length trousers can have that hi-fashion look, but it's fairly difficult to pull off ;)
(A slim fitting ankle-length cut would be Rombee, but haven't tried it so far...)

I'm definitely getting myself a couple of chinos and chino or jogg jeans shorts for summer.
Might as well try out the new Narrot washes ;D

Narrots 74M is damn sexy okay. its like nicer than 68z but I honestly never seen or tried Narrot in person so not even sure how to pull it off...too bad dont think 74M comes in any other cuts..

Does Narrot run near foot length long (like in the video) or 2-3 inches short (as on the official store pics) for your usual inseam? Someone please clear that up for me. Hoping to get 812W in Narrot soon.
