I am very disappointed with this season, I must say....

I'd say I'll get the 2 blue eyecons and that's it.

Am I the only one to regret buying a pair at 260 euros 2 weekes later?

I have the Thavar 810x and I like it but realize that I'm just not a grey/black jeans lover and should stick with dirty blue washes like 880w, 8x2, 888p.

I think I'm oing to sell my Thanaz just 2 weeks after buying it --'

the washes for this nd the next season are normally for me...nothing with the washes diesel.....back in time pleaseeee

this is how i am. all i have is varying shades of blue in my wardrobe.

Locky 810x you got is nice wash man.. i'd keep it.. I agree its nothing too crazy like 74k, 887d or 888p or whatever, but 801x is one of the better ones that's out this season.. I'd easily pick that pair of the black 809N sequin one that's even more expensive icon_razz.gif

i work in spain in diesel...this season is the worth..season for me..

@ Locky

From what your saying, you sound a bit like me. Sometimes you find amazing washes that you go for, but in reality, you just like looking at them and you never really wear them. I had that with Krooley 8X9, Zathan 772 (way back in the day) and Larkee 8PR (more recently). I loved all of these washes, but for varying reasons, I never wore the jeans. Im also an 'every shade of blue' guy.

I would advise that you sell, if not it will forever bug you....

I feel the same way about my 807C. After a couple of weeks I'm just not liking it as much. I'll hang on to it for a while.
I feel the same way as you locky. I'll be hunting some vintage summer washes. 8PK/887Q and few others I regret not getting.

At least I'm not the only one icon_smile.gif

I'm more of a blue wash guy indeed but I sometimes like grey/black washes and end up buying them and after a while realize that they aren't wild enough: A) the money I'm paying for them makes me want a crazy wash and B) I think grey/black washes are more dressed up jeans and at 21 I'm a still young enough to rock on crazy blue washes.

So I'm torn between selling the thavar 810x and telling myself I'm an idiot for buying them in the first place or keep them because my girlfriend actually thinks it's more discreet and grown up but not feeling confident in them as I'd be better in 8x2, 888p, 880w.

What do you think they are worth? I got them new for 160 euros and wore them perhaps 5 days.

Keep your girl friend sell the jeans, drink a bottle of JD and stop kicking your own arse - I would say 120 should off load them.
Or keep the jeans, sell the girl friend :-/
post #543 of 993

How much are you putting on the table... for the girlfriend?

If she sees this I'm single again.

my GF or Fiance now has already given up .. jeans all look the same to her.  she knows I love collecting them and browsing on this forum daily but she just leave me be..  so I'd say forget what your gf says.  If your heart says sell them then sell it..  However there's few instances I regret selling my jeans instead of keeping them for collection.  ie; Zathan 710, or Rabox 740 to name a few.

I'm like leftvapor, I love looking at them and adore the craftsmanship of these jeans.. but I honestly do not get to wear them.  Having said this I'd keep the 810x.

I prefer blue jeans myself, but I had to have a pair of grey jeans, so I bought Krooley 887Q few months ago. Pros I see:

- Black and contrast grey (dark grey if jeans are light grey and vice versa) tops look much better than with blue jeans.

- Same for black boots/shoes/sneakers, which I don't like much with blue jeans (I prefer brown boots or white sneakers with those).

- I can wear blue denim shirts and jackets (I have this Nudie jacket and this Wrangler denim shirt and I love them both), other than grey jeans I have to wear them with chino trousers, double denim in same colour is a big no-no.

- Variety: yes, for us there is a huge different between two given washes, but for 90% people out there... they are just blue jeans.

So I'd say keep them.

well said... most girls cannot tell any difference.. its just how well you put them together... most guys are just out of this world clueless.. so blue jeans is blue jeans to them... and i have yet met any other person in this city that loves diesel jeans as much as we do on this forum...

I've regretted selling on some of my jeans from my collection too. I get so attached to them it's insane. I have so many jeans, probably more than half my collection are pairs that I don't wear, but I have kept because I love the wash or the way they are made, just the little details. So I completely understand what you mean! It's great there is a community for all of us to share our denim love lol!
