Thavar 802K or Shioner 804H?????

Gentlemen I am going to make a spontaneous buy. But I can't decide whether to get thavar 802K or shioner 802H. I love both and I need something to feed my addiction until I go to Rome at the end of September. So it's majority rules and I'll take results in 24 hours. The decision is yours gentlemen. I trust your wisdom.

Phukette, if I were you, I'd save the money and wait for Thanaz 804M. But if you must choose between the Shioner (do you mean 804H?) and the Thavar now, I'd say go for the Shioner - it's the more unusual dark pinstriped wash, especially if you don't already own the Thanaz 801S.

Well thanaz 804M is a must for me. I'm gonna try and get it in Rome. And yeah I mean 804H. I must be going mad in my old age! I've seen the 804H in real life and I'm kinda in love. But I'm still torn.
So 1 for the shioner!!

Hello - does the 804H has wax coating on it?? I looked at the photos from New York Speed and its beautiful!!!

 

I've seen the 802K at stores, I think my vote goes to 804H... I still like the 886B from last season over 802K as if you're looking for grey tone.  I think 802k is like 886b mate w/ 8PN and bam, 802k is born.

 

I'm over to Paris for work tomorrow for 2 weeks.. I can't wait to check out the stores there! hopefully will pick up a pair but most likely not.. just bought a ring god dammit.

2 for shioner!! It has a wax coating like 887K but it has no 3D creasing. Just beautiful subtle rust coloured striping which is only really visible when looked at closely. As for 886B I really liked the colour and tone but the denim was shite and I really hated the black streaks on the thighs. My quandary deepens!!!

I agree that it has some elements of an older jean. I think that for the iron grey (lighter) version of Thavar 802K at least, Diesel merely added a few new reinforced rips and applied a grey treatment over the (Thanaz) 8880L wash/fabric, which is especially evident when looking at the close-up (back pocket) pix on the online store.

Judging from the online store pix, the light blue stripes are visible to some extent, especially on the insides of the thighs and near the entrance to the pockets (where the grey treatment doesn't reach as effectively, I'd imagine). The only way to know for sure is to see the jean in real life, I guess... What about the dark grey (olive grey) 802K? I believe a picture of it was posted on the first thread of the Fall/Winter 12 thread too, the jean is hanging just behind a Safado 801D or something? It's a cool dark grey wash.

It's the jean hanging behind the Safado in the fourth pic from the top. Also, I believe the jean hanging on the left in the fifth pic from the top might be the dark grey 802K, too...

If you mean the grey verison of thavar 802k so thavar, if the dark olive verison go for shioner.

@aramis, thanks buddy but I'm not looking to spend that much. I'm going on honeymoon next year and I think they would be lovely summer pants. I wouldn't mind finding a used pair in good condition at a fair price. Thanks though!!

I've seen the 802K in person. You have to look closely for the stripes - that grey wash is laid on heavily.

 

My vote goes for 804H!

I'm good...been away on holiday number 2 to Skiathos. Got back yesterday. Off to Brighton on Friday to Sunday for Pride then back to school Monday. It's all go!

You teachers are so lucky with the holidays. Although you font have it as good as we do here, teachers get 3 months summer holidays. I picked the wrong profession. How was skiathos? You looking forward to pride?

Skiathos was fantastic. Lovely place and very hot too. Needed the sun after the lack of Summer we have had here. It must be the same for you too. I'll post some of my outfit pictures in WDAYWT.

 

Pride hopefully will be good..hope it stays dry thats all.

Yea. We had the wettest summer in record and the coldest July. Total shite. Fucked off for 10 days in Spain myself. Totally fed up with the shite weather in this damn country. Add that to the fact that we apparently owe our souls to the european central bank. Not a fun country anymore. Good job there's plenty of pubs to distract us. Heehee!
