ADVANCE WARNING!! EXPECT MANY COMPARISONS TO 888P!!!

First of all, its very similar to 888P. Now that thats out of the way here we go.

These are awesome first of all. Very thick stiff denim, just like the 888P with the same thickness and coarsenes. The wear pattern is similar with the yellow undertones on the thighs.The colour is very dark, rich, almost dirty blue. Just like 888P was like a dirty light blue. (told ya there would be loads of 888P comparisons!) Not indigo and not like 887K which I think are worn indigo.

My opinion on these is clear: diesel, bravo, you've created another wash which every fan should have. Its 888P for the dark wash people and even though it would be considered to be lazy of you to capitalise on the success of the 888P I will be shameless and say while Blue Eyecons should be different every season they should also be desireable for fans and this pair certainly are.

The fit is TIGHT by the way. I got a size up, W33 and they fit exactly the same as my W32 thavar 801C and 8X2. My score is a shameless 10/10. I haven't rated a pair this high since 888P and thats why I'm comparing this pair to them so much because every blue eyecon should aspire to be as nice as the 888P.

Very nice! I think this is a wash you have to see yourself before falling in love, like 803w.

@baltimore: Yea it is a wash that when you see it you will love. 2nd and 3rd pics are most accurate of true colour. The perfect dark wash. BTW, I may need your assistance in proxying me a pair of those darron 803W in a few weeks!

@chinotto: No worries bro

@aramis: yea I absolutely love shioner, Fit is basically the same as thanaz/thavar but the back pockets are better shaped and better placed and the double belt loops at the back give a better ass shape, not saggy. I'll be buying 803U in a few weeks so I'll do a comparison pic.

888P is one of my all-time favourite washes... the colour, the thickness of the denim, the 3D effects... everything comes together well, basically. It's nice that there's now a dark equivalent, too.

I agree, 888P has held its 3D effects better than any of my other washes. I expect these will be the same.

Great Wash. Shioner fits you the best from all the skinny cuts. Diesel really made those look unattractive on their pirctures.

How this wash compared to 887k? Which one do you think is better?

887K is dark indigo with blue, green even mild rust undertones. These are dark blue which is more desaturated and muted. The 805A are not as multi-tonal. I prefer 805A coz the denim is thicker, coarser and better quality and not waxy like 887K. They would be similar at a glance but to us fanboys the 805A is better.

That's a nice one, good buy phukette.

I would have to say between this and 888p, I think 888p is slightly better because its a light wash. Not to take anything away from 805a, its just diesel has too many nicer dark wash these few seasons; 74y, 887k, 8ne etc. and nothing special in light wash besides 888p.

That is a very good point mate. It would be awful hard to top 888P though. Diesel used to make amazing light washes. Just ask Marcus, he's been sporting some of the best!
