First Diesel Ever (Thavar 8QU) w/pics

I just got my diesels delivered, I was worried that they would be too big because I didn't size down. The waist is definitely loose but the rest of the fabric is actually tighter than all my nudies.

What do you guys think of the fit? The only complaint I have is that the bottom doesn't taper enough to tuck into boots but otherwise I am very happy. The wash is really amazing too, almost a raw black with a brown tint.

Hello - welcome.. I think they look great on you.. The photos sorta make them look a bit like a pair of Nudies TF not sized down..  I agree Thavar's leg opening is too wide to tuck inside the boots.  For that you may need to look at Tepphar cuts instead.. but those are quite tight around the calfs depending on the wash.

a great buy! you can just tuck the bottom of the jeans. and they will fit on this shoe.

I love black jeans more than any other pants, hopefully these don't stretch much because I've been wearing them all day and I can see them replacing my dry black Slim Jim as my go to jeans.

Now to start stocking up with other washes methinks!

I love Nudie jeans myself.. I have to say my thin finn dry black coated is still my go to jeans for black.. i sized down 2 on that pair and man its tight.... my other organic dry and peter replica remains on my top go to jeans...

these only come in the 32" length correct? think if i were to hem them up to the 30" length with the fold under technique that they would stay the same width at the bottom or would it alter their shape? i've been on the fence about these for a while but they look great!

How tall are you? I wouldn't suggest hemming them because of the wash and 3D whiskering which is prominent not only on the waist but also at the bottom of the pant. Also not sure what you mean by "the fold under technique" but I've tried turning them up like I would with selvage denim and it looks bad because the wash is somewhat stiff and whiskered (as I mentioned before) creating an awkward shape instead of a nice clean roll.
