I dropped ALL the Buy It Now prices actually.  I'm new to eBay and I was using Reserve Prices with .99 cent starting bids, so instead I relisted them with higher initial bids but lower buy it now prices.  All still VERY good deals on there.  I have brand new jeans selling for way under Retail even after shipping.  JUMP ON IT!

@tookwick4ya: I dont mean to be rude, but i watched your listings for the past several times you put them up and there were absolutley no 'reserve settings'. I've been an ebay member for 10 years...and i recognize when theres shill bidding happening. 80% of the listings with supposed 'real bids'  were re-listed....thats sketchy.

I don't even know what "shill bidding" means and quite honestly I'm new to the art of eBay Selling....but I'll tell you this- some items didn't meet their reserve price (yes there were items with a reserve, I don't know how a member of 10 years could miss that) and some items I had to do "End Auction" and re-list because I screwed up in the beginning and kept using a non-reserve price template which obviously screwed me a few times, for example- If you look back I sold a pair of Larkee-Relaxed brand new with tags for $63 when it was $230.  Another eBay member straight up messages me and stated himself "tough luck mate, I saw those $230 jeans go for $63".  That sucked but I had no choice but to sell them, that's the eBay rules right?

 

Moving on, 4 people didn't pay for their item still after 1 week and I have done some case thing against them.  Furthermore, one guy got his jeans, didn't like the way they fit and since there's no returns he's accusing me of selling fake jeans so I have money on hold.  To be quite honest, this eBay thing is a pain in the ass, I've spent so much on the fees so far I have barely made any money especially considering the time and effort I put into doing this.  I might just post them all on here 1 by 1 instead.

 

Now, if you still think I'm sketchy, then I invite you to look at my eBay feedback and I also invite you to read my posts on this forum and speak to the people I've done business with on this forum as well.

 

But anyway, the bottom line is there are plenty of rare Diesel jeans on sale for low prices BUT, if you don't like paying 50-75% off for awesome pairs of authentic Diesel jeans then what can I say besides don't bother bidding.  Thanks for reading!

Sad to hear man.

Best thing is to sell stuff outside ebay, on here for example. But you have to have patient to sell stuff here. Also here you can trust people more, by looking at the posts history. If you sell on ebay, just use a start price and a buy it now price. I never pay listing fees, except fees for the stuff that has been sold.

I recently sold something, the guy didn't pay for 2 weeks. He was "on vacation". He finally paid and hopefully he won't fake the case saying the item is fake or something. You never know. I also never got any feedback from 2-3 items I sold. But hell I got the money, don't need the feedback.

I hope ebay will fix that neg rep for you. Some people are really f'ed up.

Sorry to hear you're having a hard time selling your stuff man. I know you wanted the money for something important. I always find selling on here a much smoother way but like Baltimore said it can be slow to move stuff. But if you do start listing stuff make sure you send the buyer an PayPal invoice for payment as it protects both of you. Good luck with the rest of your clear out and if you need some help from us here at DB, dont hesitate to contact us.

I don't need the money right now, I can be patient.  But basically, I realized that I'm getting older and I blow all of my money on clothes and drinks and living the fun life lol

 

I don't regret any of it but I met a real good girl and things are going well.  You never know when that day might come.  I realized that I'm going to need a lot of $$$ to make serious moves so a small step towards making that happen faster if necessary is getting rid of all the stuff I don't need anymore and making some cash to support that vision :)

 

Bottom line- Women cost money.  No matter what you say, no matter how much of a "pimp" you think you are, at some point, when that good one comes along she's going to cost you a lot more than a couple of Diesel jeans! LOL :)

dude, i just wanted to say two things:

 

1) congrats on your girl. SO TRUE. they cost money - when you find the right one. i hear ya.

 

2) re-sales suck right now. i just unloaded a bunch of zathans (not popular anymore but still) for peanuts. also, a pair of larkees = peanuts. and by peanuts i mean 20 - 30 bucks. i sold one pair of zathan 70z's to some guy in norway for $29.99 and shipping cost me $34.95. unfortunately i had totally underestimated international shipping costs by a lot so the guy paid $20 for shipping so in the end i made a whopping $15.00 on a pair of minty zathan 70z's.

 

i'm hoping my sad tale will make you feel better. ;-)

^^LOL you the man.  I appreciate it bro, I really do! Don't get me wrong, idk what's going to happen here but I just wanna be ready for when it does cause eventually it will with someone.

 

Surprising cause Zathan 70Z was still being asked about a lot in my area at Diesel! You just gotta be patient and catch the person who really wants them and is willing to pay up.  My first batch got me some quick cash, not nearly as much as I hoped but the rest of them I will take my time with.
