The conroy is made from a better quality leather :)

Hi everybody! I just got my Kushiro and i'm not sure about the fit.. i'm 1.78 about 72 k and my chest is about 95/96 cm. I got the Medium but it feels really tight on the arms holes (on the armpit) just enough to make it uncomfortable. It looks great though. What do you think ? should i go up a size or will the Medium stretch? i'm fearing that the large would be too loose. On the slightly different note which one which you recommend the Kushiro or the Cargo?   Or maybe the Conroy (though it's more expensive so i'm not sure about it), do the sizes differ between these models? Sorry for all the questions... would really appreciate some answers.

Thanks

I wouldn't count on leather stretching. Go a size up if it's uncomfortable.

hey guys,

so... ive narrowed it down to 3 jackets and after calling a store (none in my size online), they told me that I could NOT return a jacket for regular refund if i ordered it from the store... I can only get store credit or an exchange.

I don't go to school near any stores and so i can't try anything on in person...

http://www.us.allsaints.com/men/leathers/allsaints-conroy-leather-biker/?colour=360&category=9

I'm leaning more towards the ishida / conroy simply because I'm not a huge fan of black (griffin).

And IF the conroy is closer to black than its blue/green color online, then I will probably lean more towards the Ishida...

But the only one in stock online is the conroy. (medium)...

Any suggestions? All i've been able to refer to are photos of celebrities wearing these jackets in real life...

So can anyone verify for me if these photos are accurate? (color, shape, etc)

Ughhhhhhh I hate this! So hard to decide... I was planning on ordering both the Ishida and Griffin from in-store but now that I can't refund them... its made things harder >_> and I've been told by members here that the jackets don't stretch much and then the salesperson on the phone just told me that they stretch a half size... IDK WHAT TO BELIEVE !!!

I hate the fact that i can't just try the two sizes and the different jackets and pick (there is no all saints here..) im not sure if  it's better to stick to an M and  maybe have it being somwhat uncmertable then getting a large that is way loose...And I got mine on ebay so i'd have to resell the thing and have a large deliverd and who knows... do you have any size recommendation? I mean the model at the site is like 1.90 and has a 91.5 cm chest which is the simlier sizes to that of an asian noodle... :) - and he wears a medium, does anybody got similer mesurment to mine and can recommend?

My conroy (ink) just arrived today and it is both better and worse than I anticipated...

Color

-Not even the slightest hint of blue/green like the photo online. Its more of a faded black/charcoal.

Fit

-My measurements are, 40-41" chest, 160lb, 5'8-5'9 without shoes, slim but not skinny build.

-The jacket fit me "perfectly". It wasn't too tight and it wasn't too loose. But because I'm a diva... I'm gonna exchange it for a small and see just how much tighter it will be.

Other members can correct me if I'm wrong but just from touching/trying the jacket, I feel like it really would stretch a little bit over time. Therefore, a Medium now might end up being slightly larger than I'd like.

-Personally, the sleeves were the tightest part about the jacket. There was a little room for layering in the chest area but the sleeves fit like a glove on my arms.

All I wore underneath was a thin long sleeve.

-Also, I plan on losing a bit more weight, especially in my mid-section... so perhaps sizing down might be better.

Material

-I'm not sure about other jackets but you'll need to break the conroy in.

The leather is a little bit "stiff" when you first get it. Especially the shoulders/sides.

-The leather itself is quite nice. I mean... the jacket was $630... where as most other name brand biker jackets cost at LEAST $1000.

Not a knock against the quality by any means.

Bonus

-There's one thing I forgot to consider in the past and that is whether or not the pockets are practical...

The conroy has pockets you can comfortably put your hands inside as you walk or w/e. Whereas the griffin/ishida don't seem to have that feature.

-The conroy also has a few small features here and there that I have come to appreciate seeing it in person.

1. The pocket zipper tassels are like little ball/rods rather than the traditional zipper handle. (can be seen online photos)

2. On top of zippers on the sleeve openings, it also has fold over buckles. This little feature is actually much cooler than I'd expected.

-The shoulder patch/quilt design isn't as noticeable as some photos online. Its a bit more subtle.

I'm going to exchange it for a small and test the sizing, and ill post again when I get it.

Cheers

ok thanks

Okay so I've narrowed it down to either the Conroy or the Kushiro.

I prefer the color of the Conroy, but is it like in the picture? Also it is a bit more expensive :/ And they don't have a size S in stock.

The Kushiro is more affordable and is in stock. How's the quality?

@streekff28: Why are you selling the Kushiro?

I sell it because im going to have a conroy and im going to keept one.  For me kushiro is very nice jacket beautiful confortable ang good finition and quality.

I would buy yours but I think I need it in a size S. I'm 1m78 and 68kg, rather skinny/athletic.

The conroy is very beautiful but unfortunately it's not in stock.

Do you know what the color looks like?

Does anybody know if conroy is more slim than kushiro

@arte i had the Kushiro in Medium and it turned out to be larger than id like it to. im approx. 1.75 and 76kg with wide shoulders. so id suggest you take a size small. if you like it very fitted then even a X small might fit you but better try them on first i guess

Problem is they don't have a store where I live.

How is the quality of your Kushiro? Do you think I should wait until the Conroy is back in stock?

Oh I see that they have it in stock in the us store. Now I really can't decide :-?

@arte i sold mine in hopes of buying it again but missed the chance. i loved its quality. if i can find it on ebay in Small ill probably grab it again

Hi i have try a conroy in S and im 173 cm 70kg and for me impossible to close it and move with it i have try it with a light pull
post #397 of 511

How did the small turn out? Its funny cause we got similar measurements and i got the large in the conroy and it's perfect. The medium in the Kushiro was killing me, its great to have a jacket that actually fits. :)

Hi for people interested i have put a conroy to sell in the marketplace.

Hi! (first time posting here, but have been checking this site for a while now deciding between the Kushiro and Conroy like many)

So I was wondering if the Conroy was more of a blue color or a black color (I've seen multiple pictures online but with different lighting so I was really wondering how it looked). When I looked on YouTube there was an 'unboxing' vid of the Conroy and it really looks black like tml2891 stated before. So I may have to buy the conroy when it get's back in stock (my poor bank account).

Here's the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P__r7pdaldI

Also, in the store they said that in the computer it said that the Conroy was being 'continued' so perhaps in the early spring there will be new ones on the online store?

Maybe this helps anyone with their decision!
