Thanaz 660S Pics and Stuff...

Thanaz 660S arrived today from Zappos. I got a pair of 30W and two pairs of 31W (to see if there's a difference between pairs, there isn't), my typical Diesel sizing is 31s with Thavar/Thanaz and 31W fit me perfectly.

So first thing I have to say about these jeans is that they definitely are not blue. I don't know why I thought they were even a hint of blue, but they are most definitely GRAY jeans unless my eyes are deceiving me. More similar to 886B than 8LP. I was hoping they would be more colored like this.. the pairs I received don't look this blue under any sort of lighting:

I will probably be returning these. I'm not very impressed with them.. the uniqueness lies solely in the herringbone pattern, but the distressing/fading is nothing special... The quality of the denim feels quite thin, and the 3D distressing seems like it'll flatten out after a couple of wears. They're nice jeans, but for $265+ and non-MII there are much better pairs out there, or better ways to spend my money, I think.

Of course I may be biased, I'm not a huge fan of gray washes, and while a lot of people like 886B I really don't, so our opinions may differ.

Fit is spot on though.. the classic Thanaz fit.. I really love it, shame I couldn't love the wash. Maybe 660Q will better fulfill my expectations, but I'm really just waiting for 801N >.>

Yeah I have a pair of 660Q on the way from ASOS I'm excited. There's a new fit pic of it on here and it looks great :)

If you mean the first pic as in the very first one in my post, it doesn't actually look like that...

I actually expected them to look like that at least to some extent, but they are most definitely gray. I like them a lot more than 886B though.

I don't own 886B so I couldn't compare, but I think the 660S are more unique gray, so I like them more. If they were a little more blue toned the 660S would look a lot better imo.

I'll have some 660Q pics up this week I think.

After much contemplating I think I would buy Thanaz 660S, but I'm gonna wait to find it on sale :\ The denim is pretty thin and doesn't seem spectacular in quality, also not MII, I don't know how the high retail price can be justified, even for Diesel.. but I guess the ever-increasing prices is something that us Diesel fanatics are quite familiar with, unfortunately.

An example is Thanaz 8LP.. that pair was Made in Italy and was only $150 retail.. the quality wasn't amazing by any means, but still worlds better than the 660S imo, yet the MIT 660S is $100 more.
