Noob here. Any slim fit recommendations?

Hey guys,

 

I'm new to this forum. Finally have the money to spend on a good pair of jeans. Can you guys recommend me a fit? Looking for a slim fit (not super skinny). Possibly the thanaz or the shioner.

 

 

Im a soccer player, so my thighs and calves are much bigger. I tried on the Thanaz fit yesterday at my local Diesel store, looked great, but I felt the suffocation around my calves. Should I size up? Im usually a 32x30.

Don't size up. Just get Safado instead. Slightly more room around the calves.

Carrot fits would suit big calves to give a slim fit. In diesel the tapered fit slims from the knee down and carrots slim from half way down the calf. So what I'm saying is if you have big thighs then go tapered but if your calves are also muscular then go for a carrot fit.

I tried on the Safado's. Not the biggest fan of the slim-regular fit, especially the looseness around the ankle area. I went for the Darrons because it had an overall slim fit throughout with enough breathing space around my calves.

These are my fresh new pair of diesels. I went down a size from 32 waist to 30 waist because they looked better on me. Hopefully they stretch a little so I can get in and out of cars easier. Thanks Aramis and Gpoop.

OH NOOOEESSS! It's a scam site. Their contact email is a gmail address. Be prepared to contact you credit card company later to dispute the charge. This is a company from china and they are going to mail you junk so that they have shipping proof. I bet they didn't even email you an invoice.

Haha. I bought the jeans from the diesel store. I was just showing the link to the pair of jeans so others can see the wash. I wouldn't buy from an online store unless it was trusted. Thanks for the warning though.

Like i said before, I tried on hte Safados and wasn't a fan of the slim- regular fit. I saw some pictures of the Tepphars. I'lll definetly have to try them on when im in need of my next fix. Thanks Levislad.

Jeanetic,

I already sized down from a 32 waist to a 30 waist. 32 waist was super comfortable. So is 30 waist, but 30 looks better on me, more slimmer. I dont think i'd have any room to breathe if i went any smaller than that.

I think the fit is fine just pull them up a bit. Maybe a belt? The look nice apart from that mate.

i was also thinking they need to be pulled up a little.  also, i love some stacking, but this is a little too much for my taste. i dont think it looks bad though.

I just bought the larkee 74w and darron 73n. The darron 74w looks much better but the larkee 73n looks like a generic-nothing special jeans, it looks
Much better on darron.
Darron size 30 is a little bit tight but it got stretched after couple of wears. Size 31 was saggy on the waist and the ass.
As phukette said, pull it up a little bit, it will look much better, and less saggier.

I appreciate the responses guys. I will pull my pants up from now on haha.

 

My only concern with the diesels is that they are too long. Im one of those guys with shorter legs, and longer torso. I like stacking, but this is too much. Cuffing works and looks really nice on me. What do you guys think of getting the jeans hemmed? I don't really like the idea of tampering with my jeans. But if it must be done, im sure it will look better.

I like the fit too but if you feel you need to hem them just go to a good tailor and ask them to keep the original hems that way it's not noticeable at all that they were hemmed!
