Hey guys,

im new here and already needing help from you.

Im a sucker for DH jeans right now but im fairly new to this world. I only have one pair right now that i will be showing you soon, so i dont have many comparison points.

Ive uploaded a few pictures on flickr, if you can tell me what you think that would be helpful and much appreciated !

Hey there.  They look about right to me, but I'd be interested in seeing the Dior tag, just in case.  That'll also tell you about how much they have been washed.  I'm a little confused though...are those listed as size 33 MIJ Black Raws?  Typically, you don't want to buy someone else's raw jeans because the idea is to have the fade patterns fit your individual body.  It defeats the purpose to use someone else's; just buy a wash instead.  In addition, that's a pretty old pair of jeans!  Sometimes people spend significant coin on classics from the Hedi era; I'm unsure those would fit the bill.

Hey sirgrotius,

Thanks for taking the time to look at it. I just added the dior waist tag to flickr, but i thought it was ok (right ?).

They do list as MIJ sz 33. not sure if it says raw or not and i understand your remark about that..seller says he didnt wear them very much though (to wear APC instead so he says).

I didnt get your last sentence though (sorry english is not my native language) : what did you mean by "unsure those would fit the bill ?" (that they look like regular dior but no classics ?). If thats what u mean, ok im cool with that, they bargain at less than 100 euros.

Thanks again :)

Looks good to me.  They are authentic.

I can tell they are black "raw" denim.  There are lots of websites with information about raw denim; you might want to check them out before purchasing these.

That said, the price sounds fine to me.

What size jeans do you usually wear?  Raw denim stretches, so I usually go down one size (e.g., I wear 29 in all Dior Homme, except in Dior Homme raw jeans, which I do 28).

And so i guess they are a "washed" pair of jeans then ? If so then it will not stretch which is ok with me since i asked seller for measurements and theyre a good fit for me (or so i think).

I thought they looked like the one i saw in Sheva's collection (http://www.flickr.com/photos/wilsonhasan/sets/72157629586888371/) in the collections thread.  Is that what youre saying jeanetic ? Is that a thought after pair of jeans among dior addicts ?

Anyhow thanks again all of you guys for the help, ill buy with more confidence ! :)

yeah  a lot of us own clawmarks here. I own the indigo version though not the black.

Content from older auth checks threads :

Hey guys-

I just joined the community today. I am looking forward to learning more and engaging. I was wondering if someone could help me authenticate these jeans. I purchased them quick than I probably should have.

Here is the link:

I also had the seller e-mail me this picture:

haha to each his own i guess,..i like distressing a lot

That pair is "Destroyed" from 06.  Appears authentic, but but hemmed by 5 or 6".  I'd need to see close-up pics to verify, but nothing is overtly wrong in those pictures / all of the distressing and the wash look right, so I'd put 90%+ odds on them being legit.  If you won, you should go ahead and pay, but if you weren't the winner, I wouldn't go looking for that pair.  Hedi did some great destroyed pairs, but that one is not his best work. :P

Hello! I'm new to the forum and decided to sign up since coming across some Dior Jeans. Cleaning out the house, and I found these. Was curious about the authenticity of them since I was going to list them on Ebay. I didn't want to do this until making sure they are authentic. They are size 30, 37" inseam, have 'DIOR HOMME' engraved on the button in the front, and 'CD' on the loop in the back. Thanks for any help!

hey guys, that auction just ended :

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221044583469&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_1413

it looks pretty similar to the washed clawmarks from 03 i bought friday (can see them here : http://i49.tinypic.com/53sj10.jpg and at beginning of the thread) so i wasnt gonna grab another pair haha + i did ask seller measurement questions and to put up pics of the tags : no answer so ^^ what do you think of them ?

ok good to know, it sold 66€ more than i paid haha i guess i got quite a bargain on mine  icon_twisted.gif

still lets keep posting pics from time to time to help build a picture database from which people can have indications on what look real or not :)

If someone has a question about authenticity then yes they should post the pics here. Other than that there are other threads designated for just posting pics. There is the fit pic thread for pics of your whole outfit and there is the official dior thread for general discussion and maybe random pics. There is a collection thread for pics of your collection. So post all the authentic checks here but  post your other pics in their appropriate thread for organizational sake.

Yes, authentic
I found a pair of claws on ebay that look legit, but I wanted to check a few things on them with you guys.

Are claws ever or were ever MIJ? And were/are they ever in 17.5cm cut? Does a 16.5 inch waist sound like the right measurements for a size 32?

Thanks

I can tell you that all clawmarks have been MIJ up until maybe this last season someone reported seeing a MII pair. 16.5 must be the dipped measurement not the aligned waist measurement.,

Ah, thanks Jeanetic!

What's the difference between the two, aligned vs. dipped? At 16.5 inches on the dipped measurement do you think they would fot based on those Jakes I got from you?

Thanks icon_smile.gif

Much appreciated, sorry for the dumb question

The seller says they're 16.5 inches (41.9cm) aligned waist and from the back. He also can't remember when he got them exactly, in terms of the year/season. Says its been a couple years.

Other measurements are:

Rise - 10" / 25.4cm
Thigh - 9.5" / 24.1cm
Inseam - 36" / 91.5cm
Leg opening - 6.9" / 17.5cm

Can someone please authenticate these? These are the only two pictures I got from seller.
