Thavar 801C, Shioner 801A and Thanaz 8880K fit pics and review!!!

First off, thavar 801C, as you can see these are amazing, same dying process as 881Z with a colouring similar to 8MZ with 8X2 abrasions and dirtiness. Basically the best bits from all three washes combined in one! Great fit, I opted to size down to 32 for these as my 886B stretched too much as a 33 and I'm glad I did coz the denim is very similar. Its rough, stiff denim thats also quite light and thin. Perfect for summer wear. The colour exposure part on the inside is really nice, quite bright neon blue. All in all 9 out of ten.

Next is the 801A, first time trying shioner I love the fit!! Got these in a 33 mind but I do like the extra room! Denim is heavier and thicker than the 801C, its 10oz and the 3D effects are really pronounced so they look very structured when on and the stacking is the best I've seen. The colour is hard to explain, it's a dirty blue-black colour with dark stains throughout and subtle bleach spot that are a nice touch but not very noticeable. The exposure colour is a dark, navy blue on the inside. 10 out of 10, my favourite pair!

Finally thanaz 8880K, you've all seen these, nice jeans, like 88Z except a little more green, denim is thin and kinda cheap but theyre fine for now. 6 out of 10. Got em cheap from cultizm so thanks Dejan for the excellent service once again!!

I'm inclined to think the thavar fits me best but the 801A is my favourite! Opinions please!!

I'll have to differ but I think Thanaz fits you best and yeah those Thavars are truly stunning. Love the 801A too, don't know how 32 would look but they look amazing! Overall very good buys and nice fits.

Thanks guys!! 887K runs slimmer than the shioner. Baltimore you gotta see the 801A in real life, pictures just don't do it justice. Just noticed I probably should've worn shoes with the shioner!!

they all look great! the 801a is def my fav. im thinking i might get this wash in that new cut 'new fanker' since i think it's only available in shioner in that cut.  im curious how u know the denim ounce though. how do you know they're 10oz?  also, maybe it's cause you're not wearing shoes but it looks like maybe you could have sized down one on the shioner?

Phukette, hi man, my congrats with new purchases!!! Thavar fits you best!!! Honestly to say like only thavar and thanaz on you. As for me i don't personally like thanaz cut but colour is really coool.
From the back side shioner looks like viker imo)) may be you could size down?

The pics do look weird on all of them from behind but I maybe could have sized down one on the shioner as I'm sure they'll stretch. But to be honest I'm happy enough with all of them now. And I found out the ounce from ASOS. 😄

Very nice as usual. Now I'm tempted to get 801C. I wasn't impressed when I saw them at the store. But after your description I feel like I'm missing out. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi Phukette - nice man!!!

 

how do you find the Thavar 801C vs Braddom 881z wash??  You mentioned the blue is same as the dyeing process was the same.  but the 'holes' and the '3D' effect on both washes are a bit different.  I'm still looking for the 881z or do you think I should just look at 801C?

The 881Z denim is thicker and the holes are reinforced with fabric on the back. The 801C holes aren't big enough to require reinforcement and are more tasteful. The dying process is a foam dye which give a kind of matte finish to the jeans and although the colour is similar to 881Z, it's actually lighter and brighter. I've sold my 881Z recently and I'm a lot happier with the 801C, I'm gonna get more wear out of them than I did with the 881Z. So my advice is get the 801C, you won't be disappointed!!

Yes I have seen them in real, I also posted fit pics of them in fallwinter thread. Btw, if you can size down on the shioner, they look very big on you, and as you know they will stretch alot.
Shioner is like thavar, it has a really big waist, even bigger than thavar I think. I can't see how it fits around your waist, but the legs look very baggy.

In my fitpic, I was wearing shioner 29w, I could easily wear 28, unlike thanaz 660q.

They're 33x32. I should've got a 32. They are gonna stretch like crazy.
@baltimore, sorry dude, forgot you tried them on! What I'm gonna do with the shioner is post some new pics with a belt and shoes tomorrow and see how they fit. If its still not a winner I'll keep them for a couple of weeks then size down to 32 and sell the 33.

wow nice grabs Im jealous! I must say thavar is fav fit while shioner is fav wash. Those Shioner are on my list. THe only one's so far for this season.

The Shioner are beautiful. The Thavar 801c isn't what I was expecting. A lot brighter blue than a dark indigo as in some other pics. Is that just the lighting?

I was lucky enough to try on the Shioner 801A at a local department store.  I can barely fit into a 28.. its tiiiiiight! but I still managed to button it up.  I guess after some wear it'll be more comfortable.

 

the color is more like a slate blue/grey.. its beautiful........  I can't wait till local stores start carrying more like herringbone washes...

No it's not the lighting. They are that bright.
@denim collector, good job I sized up one. Fit on the shioner doesn't look right due to no shoes and no belt with no ass to hold them up!!
