Cultizm is the worst company in the world! Never buy from them!
I was supposed to receive DBG 8BT from them but instead what they sent out was not even a true DBG, a "produced for DBG" USA-made jeans!!!!! Seriously is that how they treat all their customers or is it just customers with billing addresses in India? I'm absolutely enraged and never had this kind of a fradulent behaviour from any company like ever!

That's so unfortunate raj! I've always had excellent service from them. I saw they had DBG made in USA range that cost up to €450-€600. It's such a shame they sent the wrong item. I would say contact them and see if ye can work something out. When I needed a bigger size, (it wasn't even their fault!) dejan sorted me out without any questions asked. And I seriously doubt it had anything to do with you being Indian!!

If so, they are crave 8BS. There is a typo in the title. Marked as 8BT but the product description states 8BS, made in USA for DBG.
It's still cultizms' fault mind!!

If you ordered that one, then they have sent the correct one. What is "not even a true DBG".... those are real DBGs as they can get.

But I assume you ordered the dark 8bt jeans right? Then it's indeed their fault. I think Aahz had the same problem as you.

Ofcourse I didn't buy those 8BS! And what I meant was since they knew that the shipping and billing addresses didn't match, they could pull off this traversity!!

And baltimore, you should first see what's written on the inside of it, it says "CONE DENIM handicrafted in USA for Diesel Black Gold". There is nothing wrong with what I wrote!

On 8bt it says handcrafted in Okoyama, Japan... is that also not true DBG? I don't get your point.
I even have one dbg made in Turkey...

DBG or high quality denim for that matter which costs a whole lot more than your usual denim, to me speaks something that's made in either Japan or Italy so yes for me it's not a true DBG!

DBG excess 8BT sold out on cultizm weeks ago. Check the link I posted. It's on the website as crave 8BT but if you read the full product description then you'll see that it is actually 8BS, handcrafted cone denim made in USA for DBG. Have you contacted cultizm? Coz it doesn't seem fair to be accusing them of all this.

Phukette when I bought them weeks ago (I usually delay shipments with my forwarder for reconsolidation) they had only a pair of 34x32 left along with maybe a pair or two for 36x32. So I find this really baffling as to how they can screw this up! And yes I have contacted cultizm!

Ah I see! It's pretty shit coz I know you use a proxy service so it probably cost and I'd be annoyed if I forked out that much and waited do long only to be disappointed. Hopefully they will sort you out.

They must have the product ID's/descriptions screwed up in their system.

 

However, I called them and explained the difference between what I ordered and what I received... and that they likely had that last pair of Excess in 33 hanging around the shop somewhere (even though their system said 'out of stock').

 

They hunted them and overnighted to me. The person I talked to (perhaps Dejan) was very nice and responsive.

I just a pair of excess 8BT on the website. Id get onto them raj before they get snapped up!!

Good to know I'm not the only victim of the mismatch! I don't know how I am going to return these to Germany! If they do decide to offer replacement! Shipping from India is super expensive!

You are very wrong about this. You may have not received what you thought you were ordering but to say a Diesel Black Gold hand produced in Los Angeles isn't "worthy" is laughable.

Haven't posted lately, this is a busy time of year for me, but that doesn't mean I haven't added a few new pieces.

1. DSL55 button up shirt-picked this up at the New York DSL55 flagship store in SoHo in early June. I think DSL55 is an underrated "subline" that isn't marketed very well at least in the US. That's starting to change now, in NYC at least, there's the flagship store and all of the regular Diesel stores have at least some of it, it's also available online now. I picked up two similar shirts on sale for around $40 each.

2. Chrom shoes. Diesel hard sole shoes are quite a bargain for stylish, well made leather footwear. Almost picked some of these up several months ago, glad I waited, as I found my size at the local Saks last week for just $81.

3. 8X2 Thavars. I bought my first pair of 8X2's almost two years ago. To me it has become one of the "classic" Diesel styles/washes, much like the 8SV's were a few years ago. My first pair has faded and worn to the point that I thought getting another pair before they start becoming hard to get was a good idea. They've been sold longer than usual, and now that they're being discounted at Diesel.com and other sources, I think they're on the way to full retirement. Picked up a new pair at the local Nordstrom for $180. It's been said the newer ones are a bit darker than the early ones. I'd say that's probably true to a point, but it may be close enough for the natural variations you see in any wash. Anyway, glad I've got some brand new ones again.

Well, for starters, the Diesel company decided to make these jeans in LA and marketed them as such, there is absolutely nothing "inauthentic" about them, in fact they are touting the fact that they're made in the USA. Why? Because to many parts of the world, being made in LA, USA implies glam, chic, and cutting edge. If you think US labor is cheap, you don't know much about world economics, Diesel probably has to charge more for these because of the higher labor costs, etc.

I went to Cultizm's website right after reading your first posts, and their glaring error was mis-naming the wash/style of jeans. On the other hand, it was clearly stated that they were made in LA, USA and even a picture noted of the waist patch, so Cultizm was clearly showing what the jeans were all about. Is that enough explanation for why I laughed?

I've got one Tshirt and two button up shirts now from the line. The quality is absolutely the same as the Diesel main line only half the price. I especially like the cut and styling of these button up shirts, little touches like the bottom button in red, and these were only $35 on sale.

I haven't really looked at any of their denim or other pants/shorts in depth, I will do that on my next NY trip in November. I like some of their jackets and shoes too.

And it really is a lot cheaper.
