What's your latest purchase? (Pics required) - Page 107

Quettingen - you should really try to get your hands on a pair of Nudie Thin Finn Dry Black coated... you'll love it.

I will try them in future I saw many nudies which look very good.
But first I will try to get some tepphars from from last collections like 804k or 887v

The low yoke on the thin finn's are super low! I suggest the tape ted which has a slightly higher yoke, also my thin finn's crotch blew out so fast! Just my two cents.

i got my first pair of raw denim in yesterday, but unfortunately i have to send them back. i guess diesel really does do vanity sizing. im a size 30 in diesel but these were so tight i couldnt even get the first button done.  placed another order today for 31 & 32" waist.  Hopefully one of those fit!  Can't wait to start wearing them in

the unbranded brand slim straight cut. only $82

Nudie Thin Finn Organic Black Ring
Vintage Vest
Alternative Sweatshirt

I bought these for work, as I needed a reliable everyday jean to rotate with my Thin Finn Dry Stretch that I am working on...While I am happy with these Thin Finn (these run slimmer than my Dry Stretch) and I paid $130, I think I am going to save these for nice outings and honestly wear my Levi's 510 in Jet Black for work. They are identical in material quality and fit to the Levi's 510, which I can get for $40 on eBay. I know Levi's aren't on the level that Nudie is in terms of price and brand prestige, but for this particular pair I have to say I will stick with the Levi's 510 for a reliable everyday black jean. Just thought I would share!

I know people are trying other jeans. I have never been exclusive to Diesel.

I still wear Levis 501s, 511 slim and 510 skinny. I also have some Lee Daren slim jeans, Abercrombie & Fitch skinny, Hollister skinny and even cheap high street skinny jeans like Topman and H&M.

I like a variety of different cuts, makes and washes.

Waist good, thigh area good, small (but not too small) leg opening for good stacking. 100% cotton and it isn't uncomfortable at all, unlike most (not all) 100% cotton jeans in Thavar and Shioner.

It's also made in italy icon_surprised.gif Pictures:

I must say the sizing is like Diesel. At first I thought 29 was perfect, but it was only the stiffness making the waist fit good. Now it got a little loose.
I wear 28 diesel if it's stretch material, 29 if it's 100% cotton (and live with the loose waist).

I bought them from a dutch website: www.menatwork.nl
The S&S website (not available in EU store, only in US):

I don't know if you have seen my post in an other thread some weeks ago but here is a Scotch & Soda Jeans which looks exactly like 8x2 and they were only 40€

Ah yeah I saw this. I think Diesel jeans and S&S jeans are manufactured by the same company (like Dsq2, edwin etc).
I will keep an eye on S&S from now on. They have S&S jeans nearly in every store here, so maybe I can score some jeans in the sale period.

What's the story with cuts for s&s? What would be the closest to thanaz?

from the US website, it looks like 2 different washes in the pictures when comparing the photos of the jeans by themselves and the jeans on the model.......are the real pair closer to the wash with the jeans by themselves? because that looks much better and it also looks much closer to your photo

Baltimore - they are on sale now at S&S usa website thinking to pick it up... so you're saying 29 on you is now a bit loose?? can you make some more comparisons so i can compare it w/ my jeans to get a better understanding if i can get the 29s.

@bufordjeans, yes they look like the darker one. I'm not sure why on the S&S website they look so light. On other websites they only have the darker version:

@DC, I think you need a 28 (knowing that you wear 28 in Belther and others). The sizing is pretty much like Diesel. They fit like my Diesels in 29; Thavar 8X2, 8NE, Krooley.

if i wear a 30 in darron, 30 in koolter, and 31 in blether, theres no way i could squeeze into a 29 waist in s&s right?

Got a 55DSL Black T-Shirt and a pair of nice black Diesel boxers.
