Got Shioner 603B, Nice pair, 9oz twill, chino type material instead of denim so that 9oz feels more substantial. Not much to say on the wash except its a dark teal but it has a sky blue patina similar to the red patina on the 811P. They look good but the quality is ok. They fit true to size, no need to size up or down IMO.
Also Thavar 818V, Coloured wash, Not a washed black but a charcoal grey with a little fading, those marks are paint not abrasions either. Denim is light, quality is pretty shit actually. If i didnt get them for such a good price I wouldnt have bothered. Waist stretched out like a bitch and the hem a little bunchy but that could be down to the no leg length, thighs are fine though so sizing down isnt an option for me anyway. Either way, the denim is too flimsy to stack properly. These are not worth the €250+ price tag diesel are bound to put on them. Seems to be the order of the day this season, these washes all look great but the quality is just rubbish and there is a real inconsistency to the fits.
DBG Excess 84P, now this is more like it, Solid fucking denim made well. These bad boys have elastine in them and they just hug the body in the most perfect way. They didnt budge or lose their shape at all. Very dark Blue/Black coated denim, They look almost black but slightly faded. These are just amazing, the fit just stacks up the calves perfectly without any bother. I sized down on these on dieselolics advice and they fit just right. Can't say enough good things about these jeans guys.
All in all, diesel really needs to take a long look at the level of quality in their denim. If people are paying those ever increasing price tags its not wrong to expect a certain level of robustness from the garment. DBG on the other hand have really turned my head. These were my 2nd pair of excess and they have surpassed all other denim to firmly sit at the top of my favourite pairs. Gonna be paying a lot more attention to them in future. Sure, you pay €250 for them but you get €250 worth of quality.
