Shioner 74Z Authenticity Check

I just received my Shioner 74Z in the post from a seller on ebay in France. Not only does he seem to have several SS12 pairs for sale, he is selling them at a fraction of retail and does not include any actual pictures in his listings....

Although he was selling 74Z at around 80euro as a Buy now, I managed to pick up a pair he was auctioning for just 70 euros.

 

I got them today, and either they arefakes, or the most disappointing pair of Jeans I have ever bought, compared to the stock photos and the fit pics that Tovani posted.

Aside from the fact that the pictures show quite a high contrast, the fading on the legs does not look this explicit IRL. They have a kind of 'grey' tit to them, rather than a bright blue that I expected having seen the stock and fit pics. Also, IMO, the text on the leather patch on the back is incorrect, as is the text on the diesel tag and there are ever so slight differences between the text on the sizing label compared to my shioner 880w.

 

If you look at the 'WASH 0074Z',  the two 0's look more like O's to me. I dont know. The details are telling me that these may be genuine, but if so, they are very very disapointing and I will be selling them. If they are fake, I wouldnt be surprised, but they are fairly good imitations.

 

Please help, Any info would be appreciated.

They are real for sure , you have a bad wash I think (What up with those circles?). I have seen these in store, they kinda look awesome. And like you said, the blue is really blue.

Are you 100%? What factors make you say they are real (just curious).

The colour of mine is nothing like those 'blue' pics on ssense which it what I was hoping for....

I'm looking at the stitchings... everything is a perfect copy of the shioner cut. No way someone can make a fake like that. Only the wash differs, but we have seen many diesel washes looking nothing like each other, but coming from the same wash code. So it's possible you got a "bad" wash.

Yeah thats what I thought. I have a pair saved in my ebay that some guy sold ages ago and I was comparing my pair with his pictures, and also with those Tovani posted.

Everything matches up in terms of the cut. The colour is just horrendous. I think I will have to sell them then. Hopefully they will go into sale from Diesel and ill try again.

Fair enough Jeanetic. I was just expecting a bright blue colour, as my plan was to get these with the money I made from the sale of my 71J, so I wanted a kind if like for like. 

I will definitely be trying to get another pair, hopefully they will go into sale on Diesel soon..

they got to be real. the color i dont mind but seriously those circles on the shin are hideous.  it must have been a diesel employees first day doing washes on this pair!

I am very frustrated, I bought a 74Z on ebay and when I received notice that I could JUST THIS is the photo! I do not know what to do now, when the jeans arrived I was traveling and he received was my mother, I asked her if everything was ok, and for her it was all right today when I arrived and went to see the jeans, there she was, with those damn ugly circles.
I do not know what to do, and now I have qualified the seller positively.

I'm not sure, what's the question... But those circles are part of the wash. If you don't like them, ask if seller accept returns, otherwise re-sell them. Regarding the seller feedback - seller sell authentic stuff and you should give him "OK".

Yeah but it's overdone. My little guess is that the jeans this guys sells are meant for outlet stores, where they will be sold for 60-70eu. So for the price it's a good buy.

Yep, I'm agree with you baltimore, I pay a good price for this, I dont like this circles, but to me sell here (Brazil) is hard, about the seller I leave a positive feedback already, because the jeans are not fake and are like new.

They look like pairs that didn't make it through quality control and were probably sold for cheap, I think DieselOfMiami use to sell ones like that but doesn't anymore, I think he use to post on here randomly.
