bought fake seven jeans on ebay-how to prove fake? now what?

I just bought some jeans on ebay. I think they are fake, but am having a hard time convincing the seller of this. I think that they are fake because of the cut number and style number--these numbers are listed as fake on this website :

But the seller assures me that she has taken them to a department store that told her the jeans are authentic

What do you folks think I should do? Here are some pics of the jeans I bought:

Hi!

I'm the webmaster of that website you were referring to. These are definitely fake, and the seller is either flat out lying when she's saying she took those to a department store and had them proved to be authentic, or the people working there had no clue at all.

Have you received the jeans yet? If you have you might tell her you've taken them to a reputable department store, too, and you were told they're not authentic. If you haven't tell her that style number U161125U-125U is NOT a correct style number for a "Flare" style. An authentic "Flare" style number ALWAYS starts with U076, not with U161.

Besides that the font of style and cut number are both way off and look different from an authentic pair. I probably don't need to tell you this, but the seller seems to have no idea what an authentic Seven should look like.

If she still doesn't agree to refund your money you could threaten to call your lawyer - most sellers get frightened then and agree to give the money back. Or you can use eBay's buyer's protection - this is a very time-consuming process, so this would be the last option I think.

I truly hope you can convince her to refund your money!

thank you Bianca for your informative website, and all of the time you put into it. After showing the seller your website, I was able to convince her that the jeans she sold me are fake, and she has agreed to give me a refund! Thank you

Wow, great! I'm so happy for you! Next time you'll be more careful when buying Seven jeans online, so hopefully this won't happen to you again.
