For 888p I don't know, if it was like those asos pics, I would pay the full price and a hunderd extra because it's so cool.

Here is mine...finally liking it...I was a bit disappointed at first but, in the end i'm keeping it, don't want to go through all the hassle of looking for an hypothetic better pair...

I'm definetely getting 29's for thavar, they fit way better like this. A little big in the lap area but this allow better movement when walking/climbing stairs and things like that...not like my 8X2 in W28 that is constricting.

saddock they fit well. if you lived in the usa id say chance an exchange but i wouldnt do it from france. they definitely look good enough to keep. take pics outside in light.

Yeah...given the fact that I paid for shipping and I will have to pay again to send them back...that would be already 50€ lost just to get a refund.

 After I would have to look for another one online, for example order it on diesel online store (they are not on sale yet, so it's 260€) and never be sure about the pair I would get...

I don't mind about getting the yellowish tint, just wanted a more contrasted pair with deeper blue.

There are no stores in Paris that carry the thavar 888P, I only saw braddom.

I waited too long to get the Thavar 888P's for half price from Nordstroms....but I was in Dallas this weekend, saw them at the Diesel store and loved them. I tried on my regular Thavar size 32 X 32 and although the waist was fine, the thighs felt like jeggings. Went up to a 33 X 32 and they were perfect all around, that's why I always advise people to try any and all Diesels on before buying if you can.

Wore them for the first time today, I think they're now up in my top five pairs of jeans at least. My current favs are my DBG Excess BT's, followed by Thavar 8X2's, then probably the 888P, followed by the Thavar US 75G's and the Thavar 880M's. I've been buying mostly Thavars the past couple of years, it's my favorite fit for sure, and if the wash is interesting, I'll buy them. As mentioned though, most of mine are 32 X 32, but the 75G's and now the 888P's are one size bigger in waist. They are kind of rough on the outside like Jeanetic says but don't feel that way inside. I like that they just look "old and worn" without a bunch of over the top distressing. I actually like a bit of distressing as long as it doesn't look forced, the exception in my above list would be the 880M's that look like a tie dye experiment gone bad (but in a good way.)

Sorry, I likes my brightly colored sneakers. Probably have 15 pairs of Tigers in various hues. I forgot to mention that like many others here, I've noticed that the 888Ps look way different in different lighting. Outside they're very yellowish, inside more of a muted gray/blue.

do anyone know where still have Thavar 888P W28L32 on any online store?

diesel online store doesn't ship to Taiwan!

On diesel store France, I only see 28x34 and 28x30.

i find out that jeanetic size up on his Thavar 888p! and how much for proxy a pair Thavar 888p.

Yeah, I sized up for my pair (took a 29) also and I will much better in them than in my thavar 8X2 (W28) that feels rather tight.

This wash is 260€ on diesel store, shipping is free to me, but shipping to Taiwan is rather expensive, depending on the weight of the parcel, it's 26€ up to 1kg, and 40€ up to 2kg...and I'm guessing the parcel will weight more than 1kg so i'm leaning towards 40€ to ship them + paypal fees and conversion rates, you should have a final price of something like 310/320€.

I will try with my pair see how much it weigths.

PS : in W28, only length avalaible is L34.

I guess i'm in between two sizes now...or thavar cut is slightly slimmer than Thanaz. My Thanaz 8IW fits great in W28 when thavar fit tighter in same sizes...And  all the treatments of today washes, you can't even tell how the wash will fit in six months because you have to break them in first...

I think i'm going to have to buy W29 in Thavar from now on. I don't like this feeling of not moving as ou want or even bend you legs correctly in your jeans even if I like them fitted. When it's 2% elastane, it's cool but when 100% coton, I rather have some room to move.

I'm receiveing 886b in both sizes 28 and 29 this week, will send back one of the 2 depending on the fit. My first grey jeans and I think those will be one of my fav pair for the summer.

Nice pick with the 886b. I cant think of a better grey jean to have as your first. Im curious, Saddock, why are you starting to get back in to Diesel? I feel like you went a Dior kick for a while but you are building up the Diesel collection again. Any reason in particular? Are you getting bored with what Dior is putting out or are you just more and more impressed with Diesel?

Simply because I'm getting more impressed with Diesel as they are making good washes again...but don't get me wrong...I only bought 3 new pairs, 8x2, 888P and 886B and i'm thinking of selling 8X2 because it's too tight...and i'm getting tired of the diesels I already had for 3/4 years now.

I'm not planning on buying more pairs, those were the only 3 that caught my eye. Others washes are too extreme for me or ugly or if I like them, I don't feel I could wear it with the style I have. I like the Shioner cut though.

But you are right, I went for dior kick for a while....when I had money...but right now i don't feel like putting 300/400€+ for a single pair of jeans..but there is a lot of dior washes I want from previous seasons and stuff but just can't afford it and I don't find nice deals like you ^^.

Another reason I'm picking diesels, is that I needed some light colored jeans for summer ^^ and wanted some change.

okay I see. You know how I find good deals? I scour eBay and SUFU classifieds almost everyday and look for people putting up new listings for jeans I like. I then email them and ask them if they will take $300 by paypal invoice. About 8 times out of 10 they come back with a counter of $350 or more. If they say $350 then I will take it maybe. But about 2 out every ten times they accept $300. Now I dont insult people though. If they are asking $800 I dont offer 300. But if they are asking $500 or less I do. I usually get them for around $300-$350. I just got a pair of Easy James for $275 from the UK just because I happened on a BIN for $169.99 GBP (which is about $275 USD). 

What is paypal invoice?

paypal invoice is exactly what is sounds like. Its an invoice sent through paypal. lol. You can buy things cheaper that way because you are buying off eBay. So the seller only has to pay PP fees instead of both PP and Ebay fees as they normally would. You are still protected as a buy from the exact same buyer protection that eBay has because PP and Ebay are owned by the same company and both have the same buyer protection policy. Its the way you would buy anything from anyone here on denimblog or SUFU marketplace. You just need to ensure that the name of the item and description of the item is listed in the invoice and it is marked as goods and not "gift".
