I love the yellow - more special, but if you had them both - you are the winner!!!

This wash is a classic wash.

different cause the base jean fabric is different before the the crafting.

see below the actual jean color before you get any fadings, whiskerings, etc... and notice the difference in the blue color. Also as I stated alredy, the first one is very soft, while the second one is very rugged in touch  the problem is that i cannot say which one i like more...both

Hi, guys

I have a size question about Thavar 888P. I am 178cm (5'10) tall, 70kg (155lb). I own a pair of Thavar 811P and a pair of Thavar 880i, both in W27. They are a little tight around the waist for me. Today I went to the Diesel store in my city and had a chance to try on a pair of 816K. The staff told me that the stiffness and fabric of 816K is similar to 888P more than any other washes of Thavar. I tried on the 816K in W28 and it fits almost as tight in the waist as the 811P and 880i in W27 for me. Do you guys think I can fit into 888P and 816K in W27 or I would need to size up to W28?

i have both 888p and 816K in my usual size which is 31x30 and both feel fine. maybe a bit tight in the beggining but both have loosened up a bit so it all comes down to how you want your jeans to fit you. 811p runs a bit larger and its much thinner than 880i, 888p and 816K. my guess is that 816K and 888p will fit you in W27 the same way 880i fits you.

i have two W32s and they differ almost a size one of each other. but to not confuse you, go with your usual size

I would say go with 28. As your 27 is already tight in the waist for 811P which runs slightly bigger, as audit30 mentioned. My 888P loosened up very nicely as well. It was tight when it was new. I think with 888P there were 2 versions. I think the blue version is more stiff and thick material then the yellow version. I get to see both of them next to each other. 888P is such an awesome pair of jeans each pair is so different. With 816K i dont own a pair but from what i heard from guys who own it Like audit30 its tight initially but it will stretch a bit but not a lot though. With diesel some times each pair differs as well. May be you should try another size 28.

Hi, thank you all for replying so fast and giving such good information! How about the length? I've seen people mentioning 888P runs shorter than normal Thavars. I've tried on three different washes of Thavar including my 811P in L30 and they are all the right length for me. So for 888P do you guys think L32 will be right for me or I should try on the L34? (I've also seen pictures of 888P in this thread showing how much shorter in length compare to other Thavars)

my 811p in L30 runs longer than my 888p in L30 so if you tried 811p in L30 and was alright, try 888p in L32. L34 is for people that are either very tall or that have very very long legs in my opinion

Thanks audit30! How do your 811p compare to 888p? You said that you have both in the same waist size right? Like I mentioned before, the 811p I have is W27 and they are new. They are only a little tight right now so I know that they will get better if I just wear it a few more times. However, I'm not sure if 888p would do the same.. also like denim addict mentioned above 811p runs slightly bigger.

I would suggest go with L30. If thavar 888p runs shorter, that;s because of the prestacking,. This will disappear after the first washing. Again, not to confuse you, but my both L32 888Ps differ a whole inch in length. You van see some posts above in this thread, I have posted pictures of my both 32/32 and you can see the difference. One of them came with no prestacking at all. Go with your usual thavar size.

my 811p was just right when i first got them. after 2-3 times i wore them, they loosened up quite a lot compared to my 888p. so id suggest you take your usual size. dont size up or down. i did size up the first time i got a pair of 888p and after i lost like 3-4 kgs, they were enormous. so i got them in W31 which feel perfect. as far as lenght is concerned try asking for measurements if you are going to order them online. if not, just take a measuring tape with you and take measures yourself just to make sure. i can only speak for my pairs of 811p and 888p and my 811p runs longer

ps: you must also take into account what laisnata said about prestacking. 888p usually came with a lot of prestacking so it appeared to be kinda shorter while it wasnt

Hey, audit30, what would you think my usual size for Thavar is according to what I've been mentioning? Like you said, 811p loosens up more than 888p so I'm not worry about mine which is W27. If I get W27 in 888p then maybe they won't loosen up as much? Do you think W28 would be a better fit for me too or elsewise?

Also, do you have 811p, 888p, and 816k all in W31? or you did size down in 811p since you said they run big

i have all three in W31. i rarely like risking sizing up/down unless its a wash for which everybody advises to size down (804K for instance which runs ultra large ). i probably could have taken W30 in 811p but it isnt a big deal. it hasnt stretched out so much. my 888p has stretched just a tiny bit and the fit is perfect. even when i got them the fit was  perfect. but i dont mind my thavars/shioners/thanaz being snug. so all i can say is that you should try W27. itll probably fit fine but i cant tell you with 100% certainty. its just an educated guess

Does anyone know where i can find a pair of Thavar 888p in size 31? I have been looking for awhile now and havent been able to find them so hopefully someone can help me find a pair.

Hello, I have a question to everybody here who owns or has tried the Thavar 888P.

I have a pretty good offer for a L30 Thavar. I usually wear size L32, but the offer i have for a L30 Thavar 888P is tempting.

So I would like to ask those of you who own it or have tried it on, how is the length on it? Is it like every other Thavar or runs a bit short in length? I really hope that it runs a bit long than usual Thavar. I tried searching on this thread but I got even more confused. Some say its longer, others say its shorter, so I don't know who to believe and who not to believe.

Anyway, I just want to know if it will fit me well.

I don't have access to my 888p ATM, so I can't measure the inseam for you. But I do recall because of the pre stacking, it runs short.

@straychev - i have 888P, they're same like all other Thavars I have. Stick with your usual size

They have nothing in common. They don't even look similar.

I don't know. You should decide, maybe you should decide if you need more like pants or just jeans.

If it was to me, I would chose the 888P, but I don't really wear pants of any kind, so that's just me. It really all depends on what you do, how you will wear them and your personal taste.
