Hey guys, preview of the new AW12 Diesel collection

Hey!

It's been such a long time since I posted in the forum, but here is a link to the post I made on the blog. I was at the Diesel headquarters on Tuesday in London and I took as many photos as I could of the new AW12 collection for both men and women.

I thought you might like to see the pictures. They had some really nice washes, ones you can definitely call some classics. They were beautiful. I know they went off track a little while ago and had some washes that you could call 'not so nice' to be polite, but this time around, they have some really really good ones with lots of depth. Here is the link below.

Hope you enjoy!

Very nice, thanks lorna.

I love the first photo of the 3 jeans on the wall. The left and middle one looks to have the same stripe detail as on 887d, and the middle one seems to be thanaz/thavar. First on my buy list if the production one is identical to that. The right one could be one of those "classic" diesel wash like 71b. Also interested to see IRL.

Happy to help! Yeah that right one was really pretty. It is quite a bit like the old 71B actually, although I would say a bit more softer and dusty in person. Hopefully these sample pairs do end up being identical to the production ones because otherwise they might not end up as good. What do you think of the Safado I mentioned in gallery image 15? My photo came out a bit dark due to the lighting, but they were my favourite pair for the guys, the wash was so nice.

The exposure washes have definitely improved a lot! And those herringbone will be an expansion on the denim used in the 887D. I like it, it gives a very cool effect.
I want all 3 of those exposure washes and one of the herringbone.

The safado in number 15 is very nice. It reminds me of the safado 885r that came out this season. I am looking forward to the herringbone items this fall. Diesel is so innovative!

I think their 'impregnation' concept is really cool too, they definitely are a creative brand!

That Safado in no.15 seems to be the Safado 885R. If its not, it's identical.

good work Lorna.  (and thanks for posting here to the forum too)

Thank you Lorna!!

I think the lighting makes a huge difference. The 3 on the wall really stand out because of that. The safado will look even better if were on that wall.

This is what I meant. Don't know why I said 888r

It's actually a brand new one that's not out yet and I wasn't allowed to know the wash code for that reason, so I don't think it's 885R, it seemed a bit lighter in person than the photos, the photos are fairly dark unfortunately.

This is so true! It would have been great if they were on the wall, those jeans worked so well up there!

Damn, I would love to be in that room. Just give me one hour. I'll be a happy man.
