Thavar 8X2 Pics Pics More Pics and Some Thoughts - Page 3

So I found a 8x2 in 27x32.... I normally wear a 28 Thavar.... should I gamble and try a 27 or I shouldn't really do it??? hahaha.. Thanks!

I guess the jeans are stiff and I should either get my size in 28 or size up right?? I shouldn't size down right?? just a size 28 is so hard to come by.. grrrr

I won't buy 27 they won't fit you.

I had to size up to 29.

I saw Thavar 8x2 in size 28x32 last week :D

yeah, they are thanaz tight on the thighs and they don't really give much or at all. nor do they stretch much in the legs, the waist seems to be holding up fine but has definitely loosened a touch.

i would not size down, especially if you already wear your thavars really slim around the thigh area. if your regular thavar size has some room in the thigh, you might be able to pull off sizing down one.

got a pair in 28x30 and a pair in 27x30.

waist perfect in W27 but very tight at legs -> cut them and transformed in a pair of shorts for this summer in saint-tropez

a little looser in the waist W28 but fit in the legs is perfect.

hey guys

speaking of stacking, the guys in the local Diesel store taught me a trick they use to make stacking.

they use those formulas for cloth ironing ( like Merito ) .

On a dry jeans, spray a fair amount on the areas that u want to make a stacking until it get really wet then make a small uneven folds and use cloth clips to hold the folds u made ( use as much clips as u want to make sure the folds u made will stay hold ).

u can do that the on the cuffs, back of the knees areas and under the front pockets too.

Finally, hang them from the waist and wait for them to dry ( u dont have to hang them outside in the sun, just keep them in ur room even if took them more than a day to dry ).

After that u get to enjoy ur jeans with stacking like they were when u bought them as brand new .

I watched the guys in Diesel store do it in front of me on my Thavar 8X2 and they look awesome with the stacking they made. (:

About the 2 versions ( light and dark washes ) I do agree that one of them are darker but I dont know if its the old once or the new version.

but I do believe that its the new version whos darker cos one of the guys here posted pics of his pair right after he bought them from the store in Dec. 2010 and they were light

the one I own is the same version as it shows in the link but I REALLY WANT TO GET THE DARKER VERSION IN SIZE 28

so if anyone can help me get the darker version i would be so THANKFUL
