@qwerk

Tepphar 8Y0 is on the top of my wish list along with Thanaz 74K. Honestly, your recent hanger shots of the 74K did it for me. Your hanger pictures are among the best photos to ever grace this forum IMO.

there ya go... i will say this, they are quite short and the waist is quite large. i bought them in a 26 and they're big everywhere except in length where they are quite short. consider them lounge pants and you'll be happy. to wear out, i would go for the tepphar joggs just because they are longer.

They fit very nice man! Too bad the pic is too dark can't see the wash clearly.

I tried the 880w jogg jeans when they first came out, they fitted so well! So comfortable. I'm planning to get these on sale. I have seen them on lots of sites so hopefully 1 of them will have my size.

26? I tried them in 28 they fitted quite tight, yours aren't tight at all. weird

I honestly don't wear these out because of how baggy they are (comparatively speaking of course) and these are definitely a 26. I think Jeanetic can confirm that people our size should get the smallest possible size that is available because of how big these run and how much they stretch. If the pair you had were slim when you tried them, they would have stretched to the fit you see above. Jeanetic's Joggs seem to fit a bit more slim but I bet he doesn't wear them as aggressively as sweatpants should be worn... which I do with these. Hell, I even sleep in em sometimes. I do wear my Tepphar Joggs out as those fit much slimmer (I got those in a 28 and they're fine except a little loose-crotch-syndrome).

Yeah they have a certain fit about them that is very different. I do wear mine infrequently

@Jeanetic, do you know how those Thavar 8x2's that came out in ss11, fw11, and ss12 differ? Are they basically the same?

i'm curious about this as well, i'd like to grab myself another pair in a completely different size for a different fit (28X30) and it would be fun to hunt down a specific season for the different wash. from what i understand, the 8X2 seems to have gotten brighter over time. but what do i know?! haha.

I asked the same thing in my other post as well.

To my knowledge, the newer ones (ss12) are much darker blur than the older seasons ones. But jeantics believe diesel just makes them in two different tones of washes. Very confuse at the moment.

Thanks for sharing. Wondering if someone ever bought from two or more seasons and compared them.

Also, do people know about any websites where 8x2's are on sale? Or will diesel's online store put them on sale later? The original $280 is daunting for me, and I just can't make up my mind. But I don't know if my size 29'/30' will still be available at the time diesel puts them on sale.

Diesel does put out two of some washes in the same season. When 8x2 first came out there were several people here who saw both the light version that used be on diesels site and the darker version that's there now(and we all own). I don't think they produce the light one now. You can see this with many washes. 884c is another one. 880g has a dark indigo and regular indigo tone. 8mx is one. 8qq had two tones: dark grey and black. 884m is one. 880k is another. 8y8 has two dark tones. 8qp has two Grays. The diesel braddom cord had two tones. 8qu obviously. It's not that uncommon. You can go on diesels site now and see two color selections for the same wash.

is there any observable difference other than just the color? like hidden on the tags somewhere for example. maybe just manufacture date huh?

Idk but whatever you do DON'T WASH THEM! I did and ruined the pre stacking. It makes me sad everytime I put them on :(

Washing really ruins stacking? But they need be washed at some point, for sure.

YES! It ruined mine!

If you want to keep the stackings do the following. After washing them, while the jeans is still wet, hang them somewhere (in your shower or something), fold the part where the stacking are very aggressively (dunno how to put it in words, but in tiny folds and uneven, so you get natural stacking like when you bought them), and let them dry completely.

The stacking will stay!

It does, Washed my shioner 880W's recently and the bottom of the jeans were completely flat when i took them out even the creases on the top but i still wear the crap out of them.

Not sure if there's any secret numbers on the tag that tell a difference. I'm positive it's nothing to do with date though. Many of these are released together. Regarding someone washing jeans and the staining coming out at a hotel, you were thinking of the 8ne. Someone had them washed on accident and the lady scrubbed out the markings.

There are special washing instructions on the 8x2 and 880w on tags btw
