Braddom 887D

Does anyone know how the Braddom 887D fits?

I just ordered a pair of 28X32 and they should be here in a couple days.  I usually order a 30X30 in diesels in which I always could have sized down one or two but find the 30X30 fit to be fine generally speaking.  I know the 887D is a very lightweight pair of denim (10 ounces) and hoping it will stretch 1-2 sizes as is mostly the case with light denim (71J, 796, 772 etc)...and Ive read these run loose anyway.  Anyone have more details?

Also found it weird they dont seem to make 887d in 30 inseam...???  I guess I can always get hemmed slightly.

Or better yet, could anyone give me a waist measurement on a 28?

I own the 887D In braddom and sizing down 2 isn't such a good idea. I sized down 1 and they fit quite snug. The denim is only 10oz but it's resin coated and the denim is herringbone construction which makes it very rigid so it won't stretch out as much as you think it will. That is unless you like your jeans very slim.
Here's a link to my fit pics from just a couple of weeks ago.

I wear 34 in most non-diesel brands. I'd consider 33 to be ideal in Diesel though many pairs do require me to size up. I had to get W34 in 887D cause nordstorm had only a pair left for a cool $199 and I couldn't pass the opportunity. They were indeed looser in the waist in comparison to my other Diesels. I think 28 will fit you fine more or less also since as you said you could size down in your existing W30 diesels.

Thanks for the info guys.  Hopefully all will be good with them but I guess I will see...otherwise will have to find a 29/30 waist.

Thanks, I hope so.  These seem to be very hard to find as I see them sold out at most places.
