jeanetic, wow :O they are indeed really different from other jakes. are they green/yellowish IRL?? cuz i think in the pics they seem to be a little bit green. nice fit as well. jakes always fit you well. you should really collect jakes from every single season which will make you dr.jake!!
bolimachine, he looks like one stylish mofo lol. CLAWMARKS NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeanetics really like both of those Jakes. Thanks for the comparison pics, too. That's always neat to see.

The tint is VERY similar to the Safado 882b -- I would say it is very brown on the thigh and all but on the outer parts its DARK blue
Work A Day

Sorry for the question but do anyone know where I can sell or change my Jake a/w 2011. I have them on size 30 (worn only one time) and I need size 29, but I don´t know where I can sell them for a reasonable price or change for another but in size 29.
Thank you for your answer
yeah, please check your pm
Does anyone know ways to find a good tailor? I just got my pair of 19cm Bleu Fonce Diors. I really like them, but the fit is way off on me compared to 17.5cm's. I need to get them tapered for sure.

It's really a very difficult question!) I'm a long time, looking for a good tailor for my diesel. you just have to learn it from people where you live.

same thing the fit seems off to me, but why is what im looking for, like msalonen im wondering if i shouldnt go for 17.5 fits instead or maybe im 1 size too big or sthg
Edited by BsGg - 8/3/12 at 4:53am
IMO DH doesn't fit your body type well. Your legs are too bulky and your bum is too big to even come close to the fit hedi slimane envisioned.
can someone recommend me where i can trade my mij raw 19 cm w29 with a jake 17.5cm w29 or sell it off my mij raw at a reasonable price...thanks!

real glad to see you getting a super brown Jake!!!! superb fit!!
Jakes look intense. Great fit and wash!
BsBG -- The fit looks a tad off to me. The stacks may be somewhat heavy. Do you work out a lot, could you pull off the 17.5cm cut? This may be frowned upon here, but if you're a little shorter sometimes hemming 19cms a bit can help clean them up while if you don't want to hem you might need the 17.5cm cut. That said, I like the wash and the sneakers look cool, too!
I'm wondering, if I soaked them and threw them in the dryer, if they would shrink. I know that they usually just stretch back, but if they're loose to begin with maybe not? Could just be wishful thinking.
EDIT: Here's the best fit pics I could manage right now.

^ Getting them altered in the top block is very tricky so if I were you I would go to a guy thats done it many times before and I'd except to pay quite a bit of coin. If you were unhappy with the fit, you should have sold them before you did any alteration and using those funds to buy a pair that fits you. I'm kinda in the same situation..I tapered a pair of raws but the top block is still kinda loose for my liking. But I just sag them now and live with it.
By top block I meant the thighs as well. Altering the thighs includes altering the seat and hence altering the yoke..all very tricky stuff to do perfectly.

They look good. Be careful taking them to a tailor if you decide that.

So I got the Bleu Fonce 19's tapered, and they fit much better from the knee down. However they're still looser than I'd like in the thighs and top block. Wondering if I should get them altered (again) or if they still look good.

Thanks sirgrotius for sharing your opinion ! Im going to look into that. An yeah thanks sneakers are Balenciaga arena pleated version which i really like, and boots are Opening ceremony.
when i saw pics, thats how my fit is like except i work out, so im telling myself this fit is fine unless u happen to be very skinny then i understand why u want it skinnier.
