I used to have the same problem Marcus, and it helped me a lot. Plus, the better shape you're in, the better pretty much everything looks. Plus the confidence factor which also makes you look more attractive too.

And thanks! I'm excited. I'm sure I'll get black and/or blue claws next. Unless a pair of UMC or Mulhollands show up icon_smile.gif

I work out on muscles that make me look better in clothes. Six pack abs look awesome but ppl cant see them unless you walk nakedly on street.
Am I allowed to post my naked upper body pic here so you can give me some advices? I'd love to know working out on which part would make my tees fit better.

Hey Marcus, it's a good thing for you to build your muscles, but I heard that too much weight training tends to stop you from growing tall. It's kind of a trade-off. If I were you who is 16, I wouldn't worry much about muscles. I would first grow very tall, and start building muscles in my 20s. I'd say for now, you just carry on your regular activities, sports, etc, and just do some not-too-intensive muscle training. As for sports, I highly recommend basketball. For diet, drink lots of milk and eat tons of beef. You'll be fine.

Weight training does absolutely nothing bad to your height at all. If anything, it helps you be taller through having better posture from a strong back and whatnot.

That being said xbeckham is right about you not having to worry to much about it at age 16. Just exercise in moderation, be healthy, and enjoy life as much as possible.

 when I was on the track and field team, my coach never let me do much weight training because I was only 13/14 years at that time (still growing). Also those weightlifting athletes who have very solid muscles are all very short, though they maybe an extreme case. I'll say it's safer for Marcus to not focus on weight training right now.

Since ur only 16 do a lot of resistance training. It builds your cardio, your core and has absolutley no effect in stunting your growth. 

 

And swimming is an absolute must if you want to grow both taller with wider shoulders. Theres no subsitute for it and no negative impact whatsoever. Its the best 'natural' workout you can do

Marcus! Simply, you should just go to the gym and talk to the coach. Tell him what you want and he will choose for you, a set of exercises. And of course you have to eat right. Eat more chicken and just more protein. That's it. I also want to say that if you want to be higher, you have to play sports.

Height is all about good nutrition and genes (haha, pun) than anything else. Aramis is right though, ask an expert.

Ordered the bleu fonce! Should be here in about a week. It'll be cool to try the 19cm cut.

Height has a lot to do with how much Growth Hormone is secreted by the anterior pituatary gland. If you catch it early enough you can take something like somatoptropin (GH analog basically) to increase your total height. It can add up to 6 inches. The only catch is you must start BEFORE your epiphyseal plates are closed. Basically that means you must start treatments before your bones  stop growing. Otherwise you will see signs of giantism/acromegly. You will get awkward features that are too big for your body. Talk to your doc if you young enough.

 

I got my Jake UMC in today. They are cool. They are darker color and they are much browner on the legs than Jakes from the previous seasons. Very cool. I bought a size 29 and they fit perfect

They may surely just be rerelease of Jake but they are a different color than the 2011 and the earlier versions, Ill post pics later

no they are MII 98/2 -- they are literallly just a Jake reissue with a different tone than the others

xmbeckham, it was a shame lol i wear size UK8 (women size) of the BURBERRY heritage. which doesn't have much difference between men's and women's. Burberry men's are extremely huge. for example, size44 are made for 180/65. only if you're that tall can they fit you perfectly or they will look baggy and not that sharp on you.

 

rebons, i was wearing the jeans just for the pics. i wore denim shorts today and there are only jeans there in the boutique so i borrowed them for the pics. i know trench coats go well with chinos. i'm from Taiwan. and that one i wore was short cuz there are long, mid-length, and short trench coats and i pick a short one :) that's a cute question
