bolimachine, i don't know much about dsquared. but as i saw before, i don't quite like their back pockets. and i didn't manage to get one is cuz that  they don't really have jaens with the beautiful blue color on like CLAW and DO. oh, and speaking of HEDI, he's the man. he made soooo many lovely jaens, like bleu clair, waxed claws, jake, umc, and neat blazers. (yeah, as we can see, most of them are keep being produced right now) exactly how genius this man is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On that note, have you seen some of Hedi's new designs for YSL?  I really like the sweaters, accessories (think bracelets), and his sneakers are always great.  Knitwear definitely is standout.  He's definitely upped the quality there; EVERYTHING is made in Italy, and all high prices.

oh yes!! knitwears made by YSL are always spot on. but i really don't spend that much (1000+ bucks) on anything other than trench coats and jeans. 1000+ bucks can buy me a really dope trench coat and of course, many great Diors. i guess i'm really in love with Burberry's trench coats lol that's a huge disaster isn't it haha

They're classic.  Are they still made in the UK?

I just picked up a pair of the raw noirs, from Dior.  MIJ, 19cm.  I like them a lot.  They're a dressier pair of jeans, easily.  I get the feeling it'd take about 2 years to get ANY fades on them, though.  haha

They are super lovely indeed. London and prorsum are still made in UK. The trench coat I currently have is a short version. I manage to save tons of money to get myself a long version from the London collection. The price is about 2Gs. Dang I can almost buy a used car lol
So, I guess I cannot afford any Diors when I'm saving money for that icon_sad.gif that sucks!!!!!!! But a gorgeous trench coat will always be worthwhile:) I'll post my fit pics if I'llhave any opportunities:) and if I really make it to the trench coat, I'll post the fit pix if you guys are curious about how it's gonna look like on a shorty lol

Raws jeans in black are really something to look forward to!! Post some pix!! I love the fade on your Raw indigo!! Really awesome. Make sure you'll post some fit pix of your new noir raws!! Expected to see how they fade:)

Trench coat from Burberry is an investment piece, since it's such a wardrobe staple.  Did you say you're a size 44?  You can probably keep that size all your life assuming your shoulders don't get much wider.

yes, i'm a size 44 and i'll keep them all my life. it's like parking a used car in my wardrobe lol. it's gonna be as important as my Clawmark. after all, besides these two item, there's almost nothing can cost me this much. so you've seen the pic i posted of my trench coar?

what do you guys think about the fit/color?

you're finally back!! the denim was insane. DO is totally an underrated wash. as you see on the previous pages, DO was selling for 415 bucks on yoox. stunning isn't it? they must have found out that DO was a super dope wash

can't wait to see your fit pics from last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! post them pleaz071.gif

I don´t know why but the prices on yoox are different depend on where are you from.

If you check the prices on usd, DO costs 415 usd but I paid 240 € Ç(same model and same size) and the exchange rate for 240€ is not 410 usd, so I paid only 295 usd.

I think 300 usd for a MIJ Dior Homme jeans is a good deal,. But now I have to see if the fit me ok and how they look like. I hope they fit me like clawmark I tried yesterday on Dior homme boutique in Madrid.

From now to the future I am only going to buy MIJ (except mythics washes like jake or UMC).

I would like to know your opinion about f/w 2012/2013 washes. At least what I have seen on luisaviaroma web page it is very disappointing.

The UMC jake wash is almost the same than jake 12 (I don´t know if there is a mistake but luisaviaroma says that They are MIJ).

And the other washes are waful IMO. I think Dior homme should redifine thier denim line because they are evolving to kris van asche own line where there are lots of dress trousers and only a few models of jeans.

I would like dior separete denim line from the rest of dior homme line; on general dior homme line They could focused on kva view (a more seriousand minimalistic view) and on denim line They could maintain the spirit that became this firm so iconic (focused on a more young, irreverent, and rock and roll view).

If you check former collections from DH on any link of luisaviaroma you can see that there were much more models of jeans (on www.frillr.com there are links with hedi slimane collections on luisaviaroma).

Nice deal!! And if you went for the same size, I'm pretty sure they'll fit the same icon_smile.gif
So you live in madrid? You must be a big fan of real Madrid aren't you? I love REAL MADRID!! Hala madrid lol
post #564 of 785

Yes I live oppositte real Madrid´s stadium and I go to the stadium every time Real Madrid plays. And Spain national team is best football team ever seen.

But Barcelona FC and Messi suck!!! heheheheheheh. In Spain DH jeans are no so popular than in Asia or in USA (it is much more popular Dsquared or Dolce&Gabbana, all football players wear Dsquared clothes, I like Dsquared clothes but They are becoming too popular and now There are lots of fake stuff so people don´t appreciate materails, fits, colours...they only want a jeans or a tee with the logo and dsquared is loosing their exclusiveness; when you pay 400 €  for a jeans or 150 € for a tshirt you don´t want see your jeans weared by tacky people who bought the fake model).

oh man you're so lucky!!! i've always been desired to go to a RM vs FCB match!!!! you've must been there like a thousand times.the other day when i was searching for the players i like i saw mesut ozil in dsquared in some fan pics. i must say that i love a lot of spain players. xavi's killer cross pass with iniesta (such a pity they are in FC barca). david villa, the war lord and again such a huge pity. i love David silva a lot too. after all, i must admit i like C Ronaldo the most bcuz of his gorgeous face :( i felt so sad about myself lolz. although he drew rooney out of that world cup match AND HE BLINKED(which is considered really cheap by a lot of ppl) i still think he's the best lol

back to denim, it's really hard to produce fake DHs. especially from HEDI era. and of course you won't feel good if you see some punk wearing the fake jaens that is almost the same with your real ones.

and for the question you just mentioned i must say i got some question marks with KVA. i mean, i really love his personal style, very classy and simply. and he created some great wash too (like ink me, painted sky...) but as you said, i wasn't sure about umc jake. they are weird. first of all, both UMC and JAKE are not MIJ, how can UMC JAKE be MIJ??? secondly, i think they are just 100% cotton jake. they don't have the ink spots on UMCs.

i simply assume that KVA doesn't love denim as much as Hedi does. let's just wait and see if DIOR will come up with some new policy.

i didn't know Zlatan and David Villa was on the same team. i know Zlatan was on FCB and now DV is on FCB.  anyway, i like Guti in Dsquared, that's his model i think. sergio ramos didn't button all so he can show that red tag lol i don't know why but i turned out to love sergio's outfit. i want that sweater so bad!! A&F is not always so fashionable but i always love their stuff. sorry i can't help :P i guess most of them can barely pull off DH 19cm cuz of the upper block is way too tight for any athletes. on the other hand, dsquared got the loose upper block fit to gain popularity among footballers. but yeah, i guess i won't try to reach Dsquared cuz of their back pockets and i so want trench coat now lol

wow, i now see how popular Dsquared is among football players in spain. i thought Dior is popular among footballers in England (steven gerrard and David beckham). but my question is, don't they feel awkward when the whole team wears the same brand probably even the same model?

this is really a very interesting discussion. Dior is really very popular in England to have Orlando Bloom, Daniel Craig, Jude Law. But I want to say that when I am in Europe, I do not see Dior jeans on the streets. I can say that the fashion in England is very different from the rest of the fashion in Europe.

hello aramis!! sorry for my recent absence on WDieselAYWT. it's nice to see you showing up here!! how do you do recently? everything good with your Thanaz 73J?? they are still my best loved diesel. i think they're still your best loved diesel either right? they are just lovely

Hey Marcus! yes you should immediately return to the Diesel! Although I keep seeing your Dior and it's very cool. I'd like to try Dior.
My thanaz 73j my favorite jeans now. I want to say that the dark blue jeans tight denim is my weakness. I made a few purchases of new diesel and now I wait.
That is always an interesting topic, KVA and Hedi differences in Dior Homme denim. I personally enjoy both, though I can see why some would prefer one over the other.

I will say this though... from personal opinion, as I've gotten a little bit older (25 now), I appreciate a more subtle and minimalist approach to clothes and denim. I don't like things to be too flashy, not that Hedi's were, but with style like Dsquared. I think it looks better when the beauty is in the little details, like with the Clawmarks and UMC. Granted, tastes and style differ from person to person and culture.

I asked LVR about the Jake UMC wash. It sounded like they didn't really know what they were talking about, but said that Dior listed them as jeans having both the treatments of Jake and UMC.

aramis, yeah i will. but only when i find something amazing from diesel. i found a pic with a super pretty thanaz in from diesel.com i'll try to post it in the diesel forum later

msalonen, then the pics must be mistaken cuz i can't really see ANY treatments from UMC. no tears (from UMC 07/08 only), and no ink spots. weird, eh? oh, and i must say although i'm pretty young, but lately i found out i like the outfits among Britains better (trench coat, slim jeans/dress pants/chinos and simple t-shirt) which is pretty subtle. i like dress pants made by Dior,. the price was okay but i can't be sure about the cut, so... i'll wait and see

Well you have a mature sense of style, at least more recently in particular. I personally think you have very good style, though I'm biased since it's similar to my own.

Do these black claws look good/legit? I want to get a pair after some blue ones.

Msalonen, those black clawmarks look absolutely legit to me. i don't own any black clawmarks but i've seen them IRL. and the price look great for them.

jeanetic, at first, i really don't like FTF that much. after seeing all your fit pics of them, i'll have to say they are charming. and the raws look really nice with your customized boots (from Brandi Devers i think) she must be a great boots maker. and as i remember, you got those blue crash at a really good price. i've been seeking them for such a while and ended up finding nothing.

i ordered a pair of blue clawmarks from 12AW for my friend as a birthday gift to him. he's my best friend so i spent the money i saved for Burberry trench coat on them.
