Thavar 888P fit pics and review

These just got here. They are Thavar 0888P. I love them. They are definitely smaller in size than most Diesel Thavar. I have to say that  there is no chance that I would have fit in these if i would have got my normal size 28. I got the 29 instead and I am very happy I did so. These are also a little short for my taste. I will keep them nonetheless.

They fit you well Jeanetic.  I even bought the Thavar 888p (in size 34-34).  As with yourself, they fit me perfect and I wouldn't have been able to size down despite losing weight.

 

You know that you have a good pair of jeans when you start compromising with yourself on things that would normally have had you send the jeans back.

Like them too! They're not too loud and like the details!!

 

Seems that you got a nice pair, they don't look anything alike on stock pics i see on diesel online store.

 

Where did you bought it??

 

PS : it's good that so many people post fits pics and pics of their recent purchase as so, we can see how washes look like IRL ;)

Saddock--I got them at Nordstroms.com 

 

Yeah definitely size up in the waist but do not size up in the inseam. The inseam is already shorter than I would prefer. I would not have minded getting a 34 L to get a longer inseam but oh well.

hey Jeanetic hows the 3D effect on this pair compare to the nice 8x2 or 881z or 886B?? I think you've had all 3 at one point.. hehehehe.. they look so awesome.. I'm researching for my Asia trip coming up in 2 weeks! hoping they'll have more of my size!

Cannot  find them in my size anywhere. I'm either going to have to size down or go with a longer inseam. icon_sad.gif

yeah diesel online store in US only has them in 29x30,31x30, but 30w the sizes available for 32"

Yeah Saddock has proxied me jeans before. Very trustworthy. My preferred way to buy DH actually, since theyre cheaper in France

Sorry I'm new to this, what do you mean by "proxied" or "to buy DH"...??. Also one more quick question...most of my Thavar are size 30 except the 886B which is size 29 where I find fits like a 30. I'm looking into buying a pair of 888P, what do you suggest I should buy? my regular 30 or size up to 31 as you mentioned they fit smaller than other Thavars.

proxy is to source an item through an intermediary (ie: a fellow forum member). this is typically done for certain washes that are not available in certain countries or for specific sizes and such. DH is an abbrev. for Dior Homme, generally considered to be among the finest men's denim currently being made. I was a newb a few weeks ago so don't feel bad.
