Have you tried Nordstrom Rack? I know they have (or had) a ton of R&Rs. Yes, they're special purchase but they may be closer to the fit than the pairs at Kohls.

I got a great deal on the Thin Finn in organic Dry Ecru at Gilt Club. I was pretty happy with them but spending a good penny I was hoping I would get a great Nudie worn out look. but the crotch...

These jeans are one of my favorites, they are sort of western! I wear them when my boyfriend takes me country dancing. I will admit, they are one of the hottest jeans for any rodeo, country...

I love these jeans! I had wanted them for awhile, and decided to finally get them. The price is not bad at all considering the cost of most other premium brands. I loved the "moto" look of these...

Diesel jogg jeans are not exactly what Diesel tries to sell them as. Diesel tries to sell them as sweat pants that look like denim. The fact is they are denim that are soft like sweatpants....

Diesel really out did themselves this time. The Braddom is a regular straight leg fit that tapers down to a slimmer opening. The fit is very comfortable and the tapering really makes them...

MY favorite jeans are unknown because no specific preminium denim jean company can stay in my style maybe i want bootcut or skinny jeans but if i had to choose it would be Levi's with some grey converse topping it all off!
Please BE ENCOURAGED!
Congratulations to you! I went from a 31 to a 27, it took me a year. It was well worth it & not easy (sorry), but keep it up!
Go for it! Much <3
My favorite jeans have to be my GAP gummy leggings. They feel like silk when you put them on and are so high quality for such an affordable price (i'm in college so that's important haha) ! Being on the shorter size, only 5'2", makes it hard to find pants with an adequate inseam. But the petite size is perfect, hits right below my ankle. They've formed to my body and don't get saggy! I absolutely love them :). I'm camera shy, but here's a super fast sketch of an outfit I wear all of the time!
PAIGE jeans are definitely my favorite. Before I had my 2 boys it was so hard for me to find jeans that were slender enough but also with a longer inseam. Paige were the only ones that fit me perfectly. Although I'm 2 sizes bigger they are still my favorite jeans. They come in a great amount of washes, colors, and styles but most importantly they are super comfortable! Paige jeans are jeans for all body types.

I love my Silver Jeans (Tuesdays). The first time I ever tried on a pair I was in the process of losing 30 pounds. I walked out of the dressing room to get a friend's opinion and someone I didn't know said "You look great in those!" I was sold. The thing that keeps me coming back though, is when my daughter's friend said, "When I'm a mom, I'm going to wear Silver Jeans." I took that as a compliment from a stylish 18 year old. That made my day! I'm 42 years old and don't think I've ever felt younger.

My favorite pair of jeans is Citizens of Humanity’s Morrison in Tempted. It is a slim leg / slim boot, which is my favorite fit because I am very short (only 4’11”), and I feel like skinny jeans accentuate my short legs, making me feel more self-conscious, while regular bootcuts have too much flaring for my taste. It originally had an inseam of about 35”, and I got it hemmed to 30”, and it elongates my legs perfectly with very minimal flaring out, while having the slimming, tight characteristics of skinny jeans around the thighs. The fabric is very soft and stretchy and doesn’t lose its shape. I feel like these jeans “hug” or “hold” my legs, making them look longer and slimmer. I love the concept of having a “favorite” or “perfect” pair of jeans, as it is our secret weapon to give ourselves more confidence. :)
7 for all mankind - my favorite
I have tried alot of jeans. If you were to ask me this question a year ago, I would've told you Paige Premium denim was my favorite. Having lost some weight, my favorite changed too. I would have to say my True Religion Julie Skinny. I can wear them with whatever I want and they are so comfortable! I've had them for a year now and they definitley fit better then the Paige Jeans. They might be expensive but so worth it if you wear your jeans alot. Now I only buy jeans once a year instead of every 3 months.
With their high caliber fiber and well-cut lines, Nudie Jeans are the gold standard in denim. These 'Super Slim Kims' are my trusted favorites by far...They have just enough give but keep their shape after washing; they were an excellent investment. Now I compare any other jeans to them.
Shown paired with a tank whose image I designed. :)

Does anyone find it suspicious that out of the people who posted 3 weeks and 3 or 4 days ago, ALL were brand-new posters who ALL sang the praises of Silver jeans (which don't usually get a lot of press here, being a mall brand)? And a lot of the user names are laid out similarly? Sounds like a thinly-veiled spam tactic to me. (Of course we love new members; it was just that the clustering and behavior of these guys is really suspicious to me!)

Interesting--when I first dropped all my extra college weight, I also noticed that TRs were fitting me better than my old Paiges. That's probably because Paige is cut bigger in the waist and narrower in the hips, and once I get past a certain weight threshold, or it's quick party-fueled weight gain (lol) my tummy gets soft (usually it's all butt/thighs). After the weight loss, Hidden Hills is one of the very few Paige cuts I can still wear (if you like a mid-rise jean, you may really like these too), but TR's curvy shape is much more consistently suited to my figure.
As of recently purchased "Mother". There long inseam and flares are awesome... I Luv Luv long lean flares!! :-)

I love my Joe's Jeans Skinny Visionaires. It's super difficult for me to find jeans that fit my waist, hips AND thighs and this is definitely one of them! The rise is high enough where I'm not overexposed and I love how they make my butt and legs look.
My absolutely most favorite jeans of the moment would have to be my Rag & Bone skinnies in Wine! I wear them for days straight sometimes because I just can't get enough!!!! The tencel in the denim makes it super soft and suuuuuper comfy, which is why I NEVER want to take them off!! But wait, it gets even better... I've worn them so many times that they have permanent wrinkles in the knees and back of my knees so it makes it look effortless everytime I put them on. I feel great everytime I have them on and I think everyone's most favorite pair should make them feel great as well. Skinny, Tencel, and dark enough to pass as a classic = does not get any better!
Shopaholic- your post makes feel cheap and dirty about my love affair with silver lolas. I have around 15 pairs and they are my go-to, grocery shopping, errand running jeans. When I think of "mall jeans", I think more of blue asphalt, aero and old navy :) How about instead of mall jeans, they can be "mistress jeans"? I wont tell my true religions, I promise ;)
Jeanetic- the thought of new J Brand capris in vintage star may have brought a few of the silent creepers out of the woodwork. Sigh. I think we need a post on, "how would you spend your $200?" :)
Hands down the greatest pair of jeans I've ever owned is AG's The Kiss. I have 2 pairs; one dark and this pair of light destroyed. They fit like a dream and are really stiff so they don't stretch out with wear. Close behind are my Paige Hidden Hills, Diesel Lowky, Hush- remember those?, a really old pair of Seven FAM A-Pocket's in Nikita wash, Joe's Honey, Ture Religion Sammy, and a pair of Diesel that don't have a style name- got them on ebay by chance and they fit like a dream too. Also love my Vince flares, old-school Hudson bootcuts, and my fave pair of jean shorts is my Dad's old Levis that are crazy high-waist, have flower-print fabric patches, rips, tears, bleach spots, and a whole lot of Dad-memories. Almost forgot to express my love of boyfriend cut jeans- I think Current Elliott introduced me to this style- I love their boyfriend cut and am currently searching for a pair of white/natural destroyed ones. I just got a pair of AG ex-boyfreind's in the mail from Ebay and loooove them, I also have the Tomboy Crop that I found at The Rack for next to nothing. I sold my Current Elliott's a few months ago because I wanted to size down- they run soooooo big, and haven't picked up another pair yet.
My favorite pair of jeans are my James Jeans Twiggy in Slate. There was a time I never really understood the difference between premium denim and jeans from stores like the Gap or Old Navy. These jeans completely changed that! They are super soft in a way I didn't think possible in denim and they are ultra-flattering! Premium denim designers truly pay attention to all of the details that many others do not such as the placement of the pockets. The pockets can really change the way a pair of jeans looks on the body. I typically like the slimming effects of dark denim, but the slate color is surprisingly flattering. These jeans look almost custom-designed just for me! What's better than that?! I still buy jeans at all price points, but I now have a newfound appreciation for the value of premium denim!

My favorite pair of jeans are my Citizens of Humanity dark blue skinnies. I bought them a few years ago and I've worn them through thick and thin and they've never shrunk. I wore them so much that I wore a hole in the crotch, yet that didn't even deter me to stop wearing them because they fit me so awesomely and they're like a second denim skin! When the skinny jean trend first became popular a few years ago, I was hesitant to wear them but buying these was one of the best decisions I ever made. I always get compliments when I wear them and they never fail to make me feel sexy. They're like the jeans version of the Little Black Dress: so simple, so chic and you can never go wrong.

haha, I do like the fit of Silvers as well (wore them quite a bit before I hopped on the 7FAM/TR bandwagon), I just don't like spammers who create 50000 profiles in the hopes that one of them will win the contest!

Lol. I think she was just calling them "mall jeans" because they are sold in most malls.
