Thanks Phukette. I may get the Safado 880I too. I can only find them on ebay though for £150 from the US.

Lee, I may 'proxy' if you can afford shipping.

@ toowick4ya,

With 75G, is there circular lines around upper left thigh area like in 74Y?

The fit is actually called Thavar-US for us here, I wouldn't say it's different fitting from a regular Thavar but just for exclusivity they did that.  Everyone is right to say it looks exactly like 74Y without the extra patch of destruction on the knee.  I just bought mine yesterday as a matter of fact, they retail for $295.  Fitting wise, I went a size up from 28 to 29 because they're very stiff and 100% cotton so I don't expect much stretch at all, and also, the knees were so tight so I just had to get bigger for my leg.  I'm extremely happy with them! Here's some pics:

@Dieselicious

No, there are no circular lines on the 75G as compared to the 74Y.  I will post comparison pictures ASAP for you guys.  We never got Shioner 74Y only Larkee 74Y so I didn't buy them, but I do have access to them for comparison, so tomorrow night I will post that for everyone to see!

Lovely. I actually have 74y, but don't really like the lines. I might just get 75G and sell 74y.

Also, is 75G individual numbered?

No sir, that was not Diesel 5th Avenue.  Whether I work for the company or not is not important, I'm just here to help and share with the community who shares the same passion as me....DENIM, particularly that of Diesel....so please remember, I don't represent or speak on behalf of Diesel in any way.  I am simply sharing knowledge of publicly known information, my opinion and my experiences just like the rest of you :)

Right, that's three pairs of Diesel on order paid for with my birthday money.

Thanaz 8KJ, Thanaz-a in black and Safado 880i now too!

Where did you pick up the Safado 880I? I meant to message you about a pair on a French website called kikietgalou.com. Good website, I've used them before. You're gonna love them man, they are super!

I have ordered them from newyorkspeed.com. Cost me £152 for them including shipping so not too bad really. I hope they don't sting me much for customs charges now.

Kikietgalou.com had them cheaper plus no risk of customs. Any chance you could cancel?

I looked at the site and they only had a W30, I got a W29 from newyorkspeed

Ok I got better pictures of 74Y vs 75G as my friend let me borrow his pair for a minute.

Larkee 74Y on the left vs Thavar-US 75G on the right.  Notice that the 74Y has black patches behind the tears and the tears are open as opposed to the much less visible slight abrasions on the 75G wash.  Also notice the circles on the thigh of the 74Y which the 75G does not have.  Lastly, the 75G has (in the US version at least) a blue "U" and a red and white "S" on the right thigh that you can't see that easily (mostly not the blue "U") unless you look closely.  You can see it on the first picture barely, just a little red and white looking shape.  Neither have been washed so this is how they will actually look brand new.  Pics:

EDIT- THE FIT COMPARISON: as stated above, 75G has NO give and were pretty tight on the knees so I sized up even though the waist is bigger than I would normally want, I did it for the extra room on the leg especially the knee.  The 74Y fit with what seemed like a little more give, but we only got Larkee 74Y so that in itself is a much more relaxed/loose fit compared to Thavar.  I would have taken the 74Y in a size 28 while I took the 75G in a size 29.

^Awesome tookwick4ya thanks for posting this. My pair of Thavar 75G's should be here either today or tomorrow so it's nice to see these preview pics. Do the 75G's really run that tight in the leg? I ordered them in a size 30w, my usual Thavar size, but now I'm wondering if I should have sized up to a 31. Oddly enough, I also ordered some Thavar 8880m's in a size 30w which I've been hearing run kinda big in the leg, lets hope they both fit!

Always nice to see pics :D

For me I went 29 because my knees were uncomfortable in the 28 waist, especially when I bent down.  I don't mind my waist being a little bigger, throw on a belt and have more comfort.  If they were not 100% cotton and had some stretch, I would have had less of an issue understanding that they would eventually give, but they don't feel like they will, that's why I sized up.  Then again a size 28-29 has a smaller knee than a size 30w and I can't imagine that your knees are many inches bigger than mine lol.
