I also want the Thavar 8880M. Tovani, have you seen this wash for sale anywhere besides the Diesel website?

Get the thanaz 8880L. I'm planning to get it myself.

8880M is very hot when you see it in real.

Get Shioner 74Y or Tepphar 68Z

Happy birthday!!!!

Hey buddy, can I encourage you to try Dior Homme. Your love for skinny jeans would really cause you to fall in love once tried on. You have 300 GBP which is about $600 worth.  I have bought Dior Homme for $300 before. You can get it far below retail. Just a thought my friend. ;) cant wait to see what you choose. (ps---I actually just bought a pair used for $300 this week. They just arrived today. I could also get you some Dior Jakes for about $420.)

Happy birthday lee! Saw the shioner 74Z IRL and they look a lot better than any pics I've seen. Failing that, try Dior like jeanetic said. You'd love them I think. I couldn't justify the price of them myself as I get bored of jeans very quickly and €500 for a couple of months wear isn't good value! But you should give them a shot if you've got the cash to splash!

It doesn't really appeal to me :(

Okay, so I already have a list for next month: Thavar 888P, Thanaz 8880K, Fraceex 886J, Tepphar 887V <3

Hahaha didn't you just say earlier in the thread that you were looking forward to buying the 8880M? What changed your mind?

http://www.diesel.com/denim/ss12_thavar <------- This changed my mind!!! LOL!! I don't like a way the 8880M looks. I already have the 880M and 8PK as the bright wash in the collection :P

^Yeah they definitely don't look very good in that picture, but they do look good in other pics I have seen so I think I'll reserve judgement til I see them in person!

The Thavar 8880M is super light blue but when you see it in person you can see the distinct difference between the blue and white tones.  Looks so good with the right combination of vintage faded blue shirts on top! Also, they are so much more comfortable than any Thavar I've ever tried on, the wash is super soft and very free for movement.

Still though, I think the 74Z is a better wash (reminds me of my loving 71J) and also the Tepphar 887V which is harder to get than any of the rest is in my opinion the best wash of this SS12 season of the Light Exposure denim!

Edit: For a typo!

I think I now know why it's called 8880m, it's excactly the same denim like 880m, only without the dirty stuff, and different disstressing.

@tookwick4ya, yeah like 880m it's very soft. I thought it would stretch big time when I bought 880m sized down, but it just doesn't stretch :( I'm just lost, I can never buy a correct size.

You have to remember something bro- behind the scenes when they're actually creating the Wash and doing the effects and labor to each pair, this is where the name originates.  The reason 880M and 8880M are different is not just by the look but also the way which they come to look that way.  880M is called the Golden Apple wash and 8880M is called the Lyocell Exposure wash, they both undergo different processes to get the distressed look they end up with!

EDIT: Trying to post pictures (comparison between 880M and 8880M for you guys) and this has been happening to me all day yesterday and today.  Forum keeps saying ERROR SUBMITTING CONTENT TO THE SERVER.  Is there a size limit for a thread post as far as pictures? I'm using the uploader tool.  Then after it doesn't work 3 times in a row as you see above it says the 4th time "Since you're new here, your post is being held for moderation".  Someone help so I can help you guys with some awesome pictures!

Nice pic Baltimore. I ordered the Thavar 8880m as well as the Thavar-US special editions from Diesel Planet NYC a few days ago so I will update with pics as soon as they arrive.

880M Golden Apple FW10 DNA Wash (left) vs 8880M Lyocell Exposure SS12 Light Exposure Wash (right)

Both in Thavar.  Comes down to Dirty vs Clean! 8880M is softer, stretchier and the legs ran looser for me than any Thavar I've tried.  So if you're a fan of Thavar but wanted a little more leg room especially from the knees down, 8880M is perfect!
