NEW DIESEL OF 2012

HEY WHAT'S UP DIESEL MONGERS, I'M NEW TO THE FORUM SO JUST HERE TO SAY HI AND CONTRIBUTE LATER IF I CAN, I WEAR BOTH ZATINY AND VIKER, SAFADO AND SOMETIMES THANAZ, TRYING THE NEW FIT THAVAR AND KROOLEY NOW, BUT HAVE YOU GUYS NOTICE THAT THE PRICES HAVE BEEN INCREASING LATELY FOR ALL THE NEW STUFF, I MEAN EVERYTHING IS ABOUT 300 OR MORE FOR THE REALLY COOL WASHES, I'M GETTING THE KROOLEY 886P AND WONDER IF THE SAFADO 886P WILL COME OUT SOON??? THANKS

Hi welcome to denimblog. Yes diesel has been creeping the prices up. Cotton hasn't gone up that much but oh well. They increase it and we still pay it. They probably saw true religion getting away with it and thought "hell if they can we can". Anyways the safado 886p is available on eBay.

Hahha, truth is, I'm Asian so it's funny to see other folks wear TR because I actual have the fat Buddha guy in my house lol, but I like how diesel keeps the brand value cuz TR sells damage goods and I know people can get it for like 50-100 bucks at Marshalls and think they all that, it's a bit tacky even for me, I think diesel tried to compete by releasing the Ruky but thank god they stop making that cut.

I don't know anyone that still wear TR jeans..I sold all mine except a pair of original big T cowboy destroye from first release... It will be hung as an collectors hall of fame jeans for myself... Lol

Alot of Asians where I live only wears True Religion. Well not all, maybe like 80%. I've never worn TR and never will, lol. By the way  I'm Asian too :)

yeah Ruky was terrible. Asians where I live where TR and RR only. Noone wears Diesel around here. Its sad

In Vancouver only the wannabe's still wear TR's... most have moved on... or what's that other brand w/ TR like white thick stitch but its got a cross on the back pocket..

Same story in Sacramento, mostly brands like TR, Guess, and others, sometimes you can see Diesels, like when I stop by my parents house I saw my sister boyfriend sporting pair of

BRADDOM 0881Z which is fits him pretty well, I personally never was big fan of the cut, but change my opinion when I saw it in person, very cool pair of jeans indeed. On the other hand it's more diverse in San Francisco, you can see all kinds of brands out there.

True religion makes to most ugly jeans I have ever seen in my live. Sometimes I see people wearing it , not much though, I look the guy I think by myself, damn you ugly, then I look his jeans, then I'm like no wonder.

yeah I hate them now. The other brand thats disgusting and worse than TR is Rock Revival. All made in China crap. Atleast TR is mostly made in USA

jeanetic how old are u? because im like 25 right now and i just FOUND my clothing style. ditching all flashy crap. going for casual, subtle but with a tiny bit of flash nowadays.

I MAYBE TALKING ABOUT MYSELF AGAIN THIS TIME LOL, I HAVE ONE TR WITHOUT THE FLAP POCKET AND I ACTUALLY LIKE THAT, OBVIOUSLY DON'T WEAR MUCH, WHEN I WENT TO FRANCE AND GERMANY, TR IS VERY EXPENSIVE LIKE 300 EUROS AND PEOPLE HATE IT THERE, ONLY NOOBS WEAR TR I SOLD A LOT OF MY OLD DIESEL JEANS ALREADY, I WOULD LOVE FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE WHAT THEIR FAVORITES ARE IN THEIR COLLECTION, I HAVE ABOUT 30-35 PAIRS OF DIESEL NOW, MY FAV RIGHT NOW IS THANAZ 8TS, 8S9, VIKER 8I9, SAFADO 74Z, SAFADO 8LD... JUST TO NAME A COUPLE AND THE ZATINY 8E7...

I am going to be 27 here soon. I have also just found my style within the last year.

I once had upwards of 50 or more in my collection. I have seriously downsized recently and now I only own 16 pairs plus Diesel sweatpants and some Chinos by 7FAM(which is the only thing I would buy that brand for--I like their dress pants). 

The biggest reason I downsized was to have less pairs I like just a little bit and replace them with pairs I LOVE and to buy Dior Homme, which is by far the most superior quality of the brands we discuss here(most of the time-Diesel still is great). 

Here is my collection: 

Diesel: safado 882b, safado 884B, safado 880w, thavar 880g, thavar 8qu, thavar 886b, thavar 8x2, darron-a gpw, and my plaby sweatpants

Dior Homme: made in Japan Raws 19cm, Distress Oiled 19cm, Blue Crash/Cool Summerday 19cm, Jake ss12 19cm, Hazed Over 19cm, Fuel to the Fire 19cm, Leaden Sky 19cm, and Clawmarks 19cm(on the way here).

 

Now my favorites are the following: for diesel thavar 8x2 and thavar 886b

For Dior Homme my favorites are Leaden Sky, Fuel to the Fire, and Jake

Yeah I wish more people would give DH a try. They would get addicted.

They are far too expensive for me and besides they look like normal plain jeans to me.

same here. i found my style probably around september of 2011 lol.

 

so much trial and error just trying new things for 5 damn years, i cant believe i liked TR, the gaundy flashy crap especially graphic design tees. what was i thinking? lol. so glad thats over.

my favs among my 2012 diesel jeans so far are the thavar 8qu grey, tepphar 888d, and these two pairs of joggs that are quickly becoming my everyday 'jeans': tepphar 800e and krooley 800a. I bought them yesterday and don't see them anywhere online yet but trust me they are pretty amazing. hints for jogg peoples, the fabric is pretty thick so the pants look tighter than they actually are. i got my regular size in the tepphars and among the jeans i own, they look the tightest but are easily the most comfortable. plenty of length for stacking. i went down two sizes on the krooleys and they fit almost like thavars but with a neat, no-stack length. i realized almost all waist sizes will work for most.

 

notable: the tepphar 887v looks good on a mannequin and really amazing flat so i wanted to love them. but they really didn't work for me. the thigh is way too bright and some of the bleaching was a little over the top imho.
