Diesel Fall/Winter 2012 Preview

"Whereas Diesel’s collection is generally characterized with an edgy, utilitarian motif, their Menswear collection for Fall/Winter 2012 has surprising feminine touches.  I’ll let you finish your double-take on that statement.  Let me explain…

I’m talking about the pretty French blue double-breasted peacoat (I would wear that one too fellas!), the pretty pink button-down shirt as well as the distressed finish pink jeans, the nautical anchors shirt with gold monogram and striped sweaters for men."

Personally disappointed that there were no red denim for FW12, everything else looks quite muted. If you look closely there are a few resin coated jeans which remind me of some Zathan 713 I had from way back in 2004. Trade shows will be starting soon so more information will be dripping through. Oh Christ! Not again!! I like the bottom pair. NOT a fan of the pink ones. Not at all...

There's a couple of pairs on the rail towards to end of the rail that I quite like from what I can see of them. I'd have to see proper pics tho.

Love the last 2. Can't wait.

Is this J.Crew or Diesel???? I hope it gets much better. I love the peacoat though. (for the record I love JCREW, but I dont want to pay Diesel prices for Jcrew style).

hm....nothin special....where are the flashing preview pics of each jean like in 2008 or 2009?

and now? looks like a h&m photo....sry but diesel should work harder.......like the last grey jean pic i dont want to offend anyone but it looks to me that this jean appeared in a same version or darker or lighter version before....also some tavar washes looks like the took the same ground design and holes and just put another wash on it with same holes etc.

im not saying that diesel isnt good it still has good quality but i miss the time where the preview pics blew me from the chair and since the last collection i cant say it.....

tepphar 881w was nice but it should have been released on cuts which people can wear and tepphar isnt a cut which everyone can wear....just a example

there still were good jeans in each collection i cant denie it but diesel need some flag ship washes which look cool and promising and not when u see them in real life like 74y u think oh my good i waited so long and in real life it doesnt look that promising liek ont he photo.

it also think that some washes look 2 fabric made a bit unnatural which make them hard to wear....again sorry for QQing around but i just want to say this i know you all like diesels and its a great brand but i think that diesel could do better much better than they are doing now =/

just my opinion =)

That's why I don't buy Diesel's anymore and I stick with my good old washes I have : 8IW, 8IL, 8AA, 71J, 72L, 8DK....and DH.

Maybe I'm growing out of super distressed jeans Diesel now make...I don't know, I don't feel them anymore, I can like the new cuts but the backpockets are mostly huge and kill it for me.

And I feel all the washes are like for teenagers or something...not my style anymore.

I think this is the reason. Life goes on, everything changes your taste changes your style changes. I bet if for example 72L was released this season those guys who own this wash would say it's ugly, they don't feel it anymore, same story.

i also use to wear the good old washes =)

u know its kinda wierd because i began to buy diesel jeans at this time when diesel had washes like 8at 71j 73j 8ww etc.....and so maybe its bournt in my mind that each jean should have a touch from 2007 2008 2009 2010 ..... the tragic thing is that im waiting like a freakin penguin for the last collections in hope that they continue on their old style or improved it and yeah so that the reason im kinda disapointed hm =(   i miss those times when i was excited to go to a diesel store with the wash code and name of the cut which i wanted to buy and also the hunt for a special jean which was only released in usa or somethin like that =)

118i ---> story of a period of my life ahaha ;) We got into diesel more or less at the same time...all good times. But yeah, we grow, and everything with it like baltimore said, tastes, style...etc, that's all.

We are getting older and also we tried DH, it's the reason, I think...

Yeah I really think getting into DH is the first step to changing the way you feel about jeans.
