While many designers leave the blogging and tweeting up to their PR teams, it seems as though Roberto Cavalli has taken matters into his own hands. This past week, he launched a blog/column now appearing on his website, initially writing,

From now on I will write here…
I’ll be here with you, every day, or nearly so.
I want to win you over, so, tell me, what do you want to hear from me?
I have many many things to tell you about my life… which I call “MY ADVENTURE"

While Cavalli does write about fashion (he shared his thoughts on his brand as well as the Spring 2012 shows) he has also gotten a bit more personal, writing tidbits of advice and positing personal photos.

I definitely think that Cavalli's personal blogging could be beneficial to the brand, making it more accessible to the general public. Do you think blogging designers will become the new norm? Who would you love to see blog? Personally, I would definitely add Marc Jacobs' blog to my bookmarks!
