Hopefully you've seen the blog's growing collection of beautiful photos from Paris Fashion Week's Autumn/Winter 2012 collections, which opened its catwalks on January 18 with Men's Fashion.

 

You can view the official Menswear Paris Fashion Week schedule here. For those who adore jackets that require 200-hours of handwork, the Haute Couture shows' official schedule is here and begins on January 23.

 

 

What will make waves in Paris?

I'm personally excited to see photos coming out of CERRUTI's early evening show on January 21 at 3 place de la Madeleine, Paris 8e.

Personally, I'm excited for Dries Van Noten and Raf Simons!

 

It definitely seems as though men's fashion has upped it's game this year. There's certainly been a lot of buzz around the shows.

Woohoo!

 

What did you think of the long capes and baseball caps at the Dior Homme show? And all the military green and the few all-white suits?

 

Some of styling reminded me of a certain now-deceased dictator whose name starts with K, ends with L, and whose reign lasted more than 15 years....

 

What are the designers saying about war with all the combat-themed colors and fascist regime-evoking collars, pockets, and cuts? Mystifies me....
